@dhurley15 @UConnMBB @TheMentalGame And people wonder why he didn’t take the Lakers job. He likes it at UConn. He likes living in Connecticut. His wife likes where she lives. He loves his wife. She’s his rock. I mean, when you’ve been a big enough man to get help through that, you learn what’s important.

@dhurley15 @UConnMBB @TheMentalGame Hurley being open about his struggles is such a gift to others. A true mensch.

@dhurley15 @UConnMBB @TheMentalGame Amazing interview. Not often you see that side of Dan. but he’s someone with that much passion and pride because of how far he’s come. He’s a testament to patience and self belief.

@dhurley15 @UConnMBB @TheMentalGame I have immense respect for Danny Hurley.

@gameonjmoney @dhurley15 @UConnMBB @TheMentalGame Oct 28. 1995. Promised myself to end it all if it didn’t get better. It got lower but I realized I could get myself out of it. The hole may be deep but you can dig out. Ask for help. But keep going

@dhurley15 @UConnMBB @TheMentalGame Keep talking about this, it is encouraging to other young people, especially young men who are conditioned to believe as you, your calm way of speaking about it now is a gift.
