Udonis Haslem on Coach Spo comments comments about Kel’el Ware “That makes absolutely no sense if that is the case. What I’ll say to Kel’el and any young basketball player is there’s going to be so many things that are out of your control. I get that’s frustrating but... if you step on the court and your playing in a situation where your frustrated, not playing with joy, not playing with effort and energy, then you allow everything those coaches say to be right. Put them in position to earn their money and say ‘he is one of our top 7/8 guys, he should be playing. Let me figure out ways to get him more minutes.’ What you can do is when you step on the floor make sure your minutes are impactful. This goes for Kuminga, Kel’el, Ja…. When you walk on the court with your head up your you know what, you allow them to be right about taking your minutes. Don’t give them that satisfaction” (Via NBA on Prime)show more

Erik Spoelstra’s full response on only playing Kel’el Ware 3 minutes tonight: “I know every press conference becomes about him, and I don’t want it to be that. This was not an indictment on Kel’el. The game was so fast — they were playing small forwards at center. The advantage was speed and quickness. It just wasn’t a typical game, and we felt we needed to downsize a bit. That had nothing to do with Kel’el.” Spo use your size to beat them, don’t go small with them. (via Zachary Weinberger)

Ex-investment banker Catherine Austin Fitts: Digital ID—once linked to AI and programmable money—enables authorities to monitor, manipulate, and ultimately control every aspect of human behaviour. "If I can track you closely—where you're going and what you're doing—and I can get you on programmable money, which can be turned on and off, then I can start to use AI and surveillance systems and algorithms to basically manage and control your behaviour." "So if I want you living in a 15-minute city, your money won't work beyond the 15 minutes unless you do what I say." "So what we're talking about... is building a system that will allow you to be [surveilled] and tracked and turn your money on and off, or incentivise you or penalise you in a variety of ways with your money, that can be integrated with your behaviour." "When you integrate [AI] with a digital ID and programmable money, then you're talking about complete control." "That is a coup d'état. That is the end of human liberty in the West."

"You can either produce excellence or you can avoid criticism. But you cannot do both of those. The reason that you don't have certain excellence that you want is because you are afraid of getting criticized. You are afraid of the judgment that comes with it. You are afraid of standing out. You are afraid of being alone. You are afraid of people looking at you. You are worried about what people think of you. There are 2 categories of things in this world: 1) Things that are up to you 2) Things that are not up to you Which category does your reputation sit in? Your reputation is not up to you. I'm the one who associates your reputation with something, not you. You just do things. What's up to you? How you act. Your decisions. Your actions. That is up to you. Your reputation is not up to you. Here's how I know that: You all have a reputation about me and it's not in my control. I get to say and do whatever I say and do up here. I am in control of saying it. I am in control of doing it. The moment words leave my lips, who has control over what is done with those words? You! You are in control of what you think of me. And there's no way everybody in this room is going to think the exact same thing about me. No way. When it comes to exceptional, what we've got to understand is you can spend your whole life trying to avoid criticism and earn reputation, and it still won't be in your control. We can waste a lot of time missing out on excellence we could have been producing if we were just simply LESS trying to engineer what we wanted other people to think about us."

Garrett Temple says the secret to lasting 16 years in the NBA is being low maintenance “I think it goes back to what we talked about earlier. Just understanding your role. I think it’s more difficult for highly touted guys, or guys that are just very talented, that can do a lot of good things and don’t get that opportunity right away. I think they may not be able to be adaptable.” “The talent level is immense. But the ability to be professional, and that’s general, but that means be on time, have a work ethic, be low maintenance. I think that’s the big thing now.” “Being low maintenance, which means not having anybody have to worry about you, or asking for too many things, or you being a prima donna, or things of that nature.” “Just being somebody that’s under the radar. I call it the ‘What do you need, Coach?’ player. When you can be that guy, and then once you get on the court you produce, especially on the defensive end, offensively you can make shots, miss shots, but if you produce defensively and you cause no problems, you only bring positivity to the team, it’s hard for coaches and GMs to get rid of you. It’s very hard.” “Those are all things you can control. It’s simple, but it’s not easy. Because you get in your head. ‘I was this dude, but you go three games without playing. The dude in front of me not even playing well. What are you doing?’” “The ego is so big in professional sports. You have to have one to get to a certain level, but you literally have to be able to turn it on and off.” “And once your mindset is about winning, the team winning, you can focus on doing whatever the team needs you to do to win. That’s the biggest thing that allows people to stay in the league.”

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar shares the greatest lesson that Coach Wooden taught him about winning, losing, and effort. "There are disappointments for any competitive athlete because you can't win all the time." "Coach Wooden taught us that you can only come out and give your best effort. That's all you can do." Focus on what you can control. "The outcome is not determined by anything that you have control over. Only thing you have control over is your effort and then the effort of your group, your team." You can't control the outcome, but you can control your input and how you show up. "When you put together a good effort consistently, you have a chance to win." "As long as you put your best effort out there, you should be satisfied with that and not be down on yourself." Excellence is the habit and the mindset, not the destination. The goal is excellence in everything you do: Compete, commit, and always look to get better. (🎥 Academy of Achievement)

Catherine Austin Fitts: "[With] digital ID & programmable money...you're talking about complete control...[&]...we are in a political war between the mega-rich & everybody else. And the question [for] the mega-rich [is] how are you going to control the many when you are few?" This clip of Fitts, a former Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, investment banker, and founder of the Solari Report (The Solari Report | Catherine Austin Fitts), is taken from an interview with Holistic Hilda posted to YouTube on September 26, 2025. ----------------Partial transcription of clip--------------- "My chief concern, if you look at what AI is good at, AI is very good at simulating anything that can be expressed mathematically. And of course, the thing we all know can be expressed mathematically are our, financial transactions. And the reality is, if I can track you closely where you're going and what you're doing, and I can get you on programmable money which can be turned on and off, then I can start to use AI and surveillance systems and algorithms to basically manage and control your behavior. "If I want you living in a 15 minute city, your money won't work beyond the 15 minutes unless you do what I say. We have a wonderful woman who runs our team Cash, and she says, what are you going to do when they show up and say either you transgender your children or we're going to turn off your money? "So what we're talking about doing is building a system that will allow you to be surveillance and tracked and turn your money on and off, or incentivize you or penalize you in a variety of ways with your money that can be integrated with your behavior. "So once you add programmable, all this stuff looks great. And there are many wonderful applications in theory, but when you integrate it with a digital ID and programmable money, then you're talking about complete control. And let me tell you why that's a problem. If you look around the world today, we are watching many different divide and conquer tactics used to cover up the real problem. "Right now we are in a political war between the mega rich and everybody else. And, the question is, if you're the mega rich, how are you going to control the many when you are few? The way you're going to do it was with programmable money. But programmable money doesn't click in and work well unless you've got everybody on the grid. You need to be able to track them, you need to be able to watch their behavior, you need to be able to influence their behavior. "And then you've got complete control. And that is not just wearables, that is not just an Internet of bodies. That is a coup d' Etat. That is the end of human liberty in the West."

Dwyane Wade on Coach Spo comments about Kel’el Ware ‘subconsciously playing bad’ due to low minutes “The first part I understand lockstep about understanding the day need to be stacked for a young player. The second part I don’t understand of the subconscious I’m gonna play bad. I’ve watched Ware, I don’t know him personally but the kid was playing so well earlier in the year where It looked like he was a center piece. You hate to see it got right here. I don’t think he’s intentionally trying to play bad… it feels like there’s a misunderstanding of where he is at this point in his career. I’m sure he’s frustrated. I don’t think this kid is subconsciously trying to out there a sabotage his minutes and own career. It’s hard to get a rhythm and flow when you don’t know it’s coming” (Via NBA on Prime)

UCONN HC Dan Hurley - Leadership & Culture - "Leadership and culture have never been more important." - "Your culture better be on point, your leadership better be on point, you better be the driving force behind your organization every day that you step foot in to that building. And you better set the tone. You better be a tone setter every single day of what you want to reflect in your culture." - "I keep my players happy because they know that there is very few places in the country, if any, where they're going to get the same level of commitment in terms of time & effort that's going to be in to their career, skill development & personal development." - "And they know that every day that they're on campus in Storrs CT... That full staff is in the office and we're working towards making them better. I'm not out playing golf in June... I'm in the gym with them, I'm in the weight room with them, I'm in the office with them." - "I want my players to feel like they're not going to get better service than they're going to get from our staff. And they literally see a person that is trying to kill themselves on the job to help them reach their dreams and goals."

They should be the ones to apologize. To be a lion is to accept to deal with and confront your challenges, those of your family or country, and you own them unapologetically.” Chairman Kagame | Interaction with Content Creators.

Don’t Scroll—God Is Calling You to Submit and Move Praise the Lord that He has given us such a commission and such a call and we should be humbled by that and we should want to go out for His kingdom and do that. All of you are usable by God. There is not one of you that is not usable if you're only willing to submit. We all fall short. It's a matter of who is willing. Here I am, Lord, send me. That's what Isaiah said. Here I am. Send me. You are all usable. When a lot of you out there go, well, what can I do for God in my life? There's a lot you can do. If you're only willing to be picked up as an instrument in his Hands and implemented the way you were created to move. Many of you are operating outside the realm of what you were created to be. And in this season, that's going to be reconciled. And many of you are going to change course in this season drastically. Because you're in jobs, you're in areas, you're doing things, you were not created to do. You have gifts for it, but you weren’t created to do it. And there's going to be massive shifts in many of your lives and a sudden turn. And the Lord is going to realign. And this is going to be quick when He does it. Realign you into the position, redirect you and put you on that course because time is short and He needs you operating in what you were created to do. He needs that right now. And many of you are going to enter that process in this season. So praise the Lord because you are. You will enter that process and you will be redirected. And you will do what is written about you in the books of heaven, what you were created to do on this earth. Because many of you know and feel uncomfortable and know you're not in your call. You know you are just trying to try to endure, you're trying to survive. And it's because you're not in your call. Surrender to God, allow Him to redirect you into your call and your purpose that you were beautifully created to do. Because it's needed in this season and we cannot dilly dally anymore and go dabbling in things we are not created to do. It's time for us to go to work and it's time for us to be willing to go there.

Gilbert Arenas on why great college players don’t always pan out in the NBA: “I think people think your stats really matter at the next level. Your college stats, you’re playing against other college kids and most colleges, you know, you’re not going against top tier talent, you know, in your position itself, right? You’re playing a defense that doesn’t get played at that next level. So, you can be a great guard and then the next level you’re not even a basketball player, you can be an average college player and be a NBA superstar. It’s about what is your attributes, some kids are NBA players, not college players. Some kids are college players, not NBA players.” (Via Gilbert Arenas)

Steyer: If you can’t stand up for democracy and the rule of law, and instead stand by for cold-blooded murder of American citizens on our streets—you forfeit your right to be a leader. You forfeit your right to talk about things that are not about money. All you get to talk about is business and money, because that’s all you care about.

Nick Saban explains the difference between a mistake that deserves getting chewed out and one that deserves encouragement “I always sort of had a lot of respect for the fact that any player that’s a competitor wants to do well. And I think when you start with that, you have a better perspective because you look at things from their perspective, not your perspective. And I think that’s very helpful.” “Sometimes when guys are not doing intangible things, whether it’s giving effort or focusing or making mental errors or things that they can actually control, that is something that you can’t tolerate. And you really want to maybe sometimes get after a guy a little bit for it.” “But when guys are doing those things and just not having success, I think that’s when you want to pat them on the back and get them to believe in themselves and have an understanding if they continue to do things the right way, they will eventually have success.” “And every player’s different. Sometimes you got guys that are obsessive-compulsive type personalities that are really hard on themselves, and I don’t think you need to get on those guys because they’re already getting on themselves.” “Then you have other guys that may not be self-starters, and you got to push them a little bit more to get them to be what they’re capable of being. I think all those things were factors in how you kind of approach a player and try to get him to be the best he can be.” “I always tried to focus on the individual and not look at it like one size fits all, and try to take the best approach with that particular guy to help him have success.”

Jordan Peterson: "If you're competent and silent you will be ignored." "You might think well people should reward you because you're competent. And yes of course they should. But if you're competent and silent then you're just part of the background that's keeping everything functioning" On why you cannot negotiate from a position of weakness: "If you want to push your career forward you have to push it forward. You have to be competent and you have to be strategic" "To be strategic when you negotiate for a new position or a new salary you have to be able to say if you don't give me what I want then something you don't like will happen to you" "It's not a physical threat. It's that you have an option" "You have your CV in order. You're educated and competent and desirable to people outside of your immediate job. You're willing to instantly put yourself on the job market" "So that when you go talk to the person you're negotiating with you're credible" On the one thing most people completely miss about negotiation: "It's very seldom that you're talking to the person who's at the top of the pecking order. What you need to do is tell them a story that they can tell to their boss to make you not a problem" "A good story is look we really need this person because they're hyper competent and they have a better offer" "If you go in there with no power you're going to lose. Obviously" He concludes with the one thing every competent person needs to hear: "The first thing you need to know if you're going to negotiate is that you have to be able to say no. And what no means is that you're not going to do it"

Yale Univ.'s Amanda Joy Calhoun, MD, MPH says we should put our political differences ahead of family: "There is a societal norm that if somebody is your family that they are entitled to your time & I think the answer is absolutely not. So if you're going through a situation where you have family members, close friends who you know have voted in ways that are against ... your livelihood, it’s completely fine to not be around those people & tell them why; to say 'I have a problem with the way that you voted because it went against my very livelihood and I’m not going to be around you this holiday'"
