And here is a breakdown of what ACTUALLY happened. - On May 20th at approximately 12:34 p.m., a Fairfield Police Officer serving as a School Resource Officer responded to a large physical fight involving multiple students at Fairfield High School. During the altercation, one student physically fought with a school official who was attempting to break up the fight, prompting the officer to immediately request emergency assistance. - While trying to stop the fight, the officer observed a student attempting to retrieve an item from a backpack.
