That is 5 - 10% discount. # The Farmers contacted the Paddy Purchase Officer; a State Govt Representative, and narrated how they were being arm twisted as they have already reached by hiring vehicles and have transported the paddy and that it's not possible for them to take back the paddy as they would incur huge financial loss. # The Paddy Purchase Officer assured them that he is on the way, but he never showed up. # The Farmers got frustrated after waiting for more than 3-4 hours, and started a peaceful agitation. # Arup Kumar Mondal; the Officer-in-Charge, Goghat Police Station; Hooghly Rural Police District, showed up instantly, hurling abuses & expletives towards the peacefully protesting Farmers and manhandled them. Chris Weidman deserves his contracted UFC 309 ‘show’ money after Eryk Anders had to pull out just hours before their fight. “My show money is my win money. I have guaranteed money. So that was my point—like, I showed up, you guys had that on the budget sheet to begin with, you guys had a great night, why do you guys get to keep that money and I don’t? That was my thought. Their thoughts were, ‘Listen, this happens on like 40% of the cards, and if we paid people to not fight…’ They just want to be consistent on what they do in those situations.” First off, the UFC doesn’t deal with anywhere near 40% of fighters falling off the card on the actual day of the fight, especially where there’s no opportunity for a replacement fighter to step in. His opponent, Eryk Anders, fell ill with food poisoning—which happens—and had to be removed from the card the day of the fight. The UFC was not able to replace Anders with a last-second opponent. None of this was Weidman’s fault or within his control. Weidman is on a fully guaranteed contract, not a “show/win” type of deal. The UFC had a very successful night, as evidenced by their announcement of a top 5 biggest gate in UFC history. The money that was supposed to be paid to Weidman was clearly already allocated. The tickets were sold, and Weidman’s family and friends—many of whom traveled to New York—were all in attendance, ready to watch him fight. Yes, the UFC rebooked Weidman for UFC 310 on December 7th, but that should have no bearing on them paying his full guaranteed “show” money for UFC 309. Tyranny's Grip: The June 27th Massacre. Today, we remember the victims of the June 27th state-sponsored violence that scarred our nation. On that fateful day in 2008, our country witnessed the brutal exercise of power, leaving a lasting impact on our memory. The loss of lives, destruction of property, and stripping of dignity from our people are wounds that still linger. Our movement withdrew from the June 2008 presidential runoff election due to the unprecedented levels of violence, intimidation, and repression unleashed by the regime. The violence was widespread and brutal, with over 200 people killed, thousands displaced, and many more subjected to torture, rape, and other forms of violence. Homes were burned, businesses looted, and livelihoods destroyed. It was a calculated move, a strategy to cling to power at any cost! Mugabe would stop at nothing to stay in power, thanks to the decisive power block - the military. The regime's desperation to retain power knew no bounds. The only language they understood was violence, engineered from the very same mafia that is in power today. A scorched earth policy was implemented, aimed at killing everything and anyone that resembled resistance. Bases were created, torture chambers constructed overnight, and guns were everywhere. The Zimbabwe Republic Police was rendered useless, as gun-toting goons were unleashed on the population. Blood was spilled, limbs were broken, families were scattered, and destinies were killed. The violence was a dark chapter on our nation's history, and its effects are still felt today. A nation held hostage by tyranny is a troubled nation; it has no hope! The journey to justice and freedom has been long and arduous, but we're resolute in our fight for a better Zimbabwe. Our movement withdrew from the June 2008 presidential runoff election due to the unprecedented levels of violence, intimidation, and repression unleashed by the regime. What he does is he grabs the back of his head and he just starts tugging on it. The idea was he would pull it as far as he could, and then we would take over stretching the image, making it appear to be distorting in a way that it physically couldn’t. Then basically when I shot Vince I just kept urging him to pull harder, and harder, and harder until finally the final take he just pulled it until the makeup just ripped. We said, ‘Okay, we got it.’ That’s what’s in the show because it’s really tugging on his face the maximum it could be done, and then we just extended that. There’s a new claim that “essentially, all that happened was Trump got tired, took control and forced it on Netanyahu, and this is basically the same deal that could have been reached a year earlier,” with the disturbing implication, that’s horrible to say, that IDF soldiers died in vain for a cause that had already been achieved. So, let’s revisit the plans that were laid out by both the current and former American administrations to see if they match up. For example, the Biden plan from June 1, 2024, which was met with considerable enthusiasm, and was even later acknowledged as Netanyahu’s plan. I want to highlight the difference. In the first phase, the IDF should have already pulled back to roughly its current position, and then it was just about releasing humanitarian hostages. As if not all of them are “humanitarian.” Then it transitioned to discussing the release of living hostages. In this phase, the IDF would withdraw from all of Gaza, until the last centimetre, while all the dead hostages remain in Gaza. It’s as different as day and night. Here, everyone is returning, including the dead, and the IDF is still in half of Gaza. This isn’t just about some desire to maintain an occupation or garrison force, but rather to ensure that Hamas disarms — something that didn’t happen in the Biden proposal. So now let’s move on to the Witkoff plan, much closer to us, much better for Israel, but still different. There was talk of releasing half of the dead hostages, but then a temporary ceasefire for two months of negotiations to end the war, and then the IDF would withdraw from more places than it is now, and there would be a guarantee that the war would not be renewed. Once again, we see that there was no connection between the IDF remaining on the ground and the promise that Hamas would disarm, especially while some of the hostages are still there. The greatness of this outline is this issue. I also want to say something general about the matter of responsibility. As ridiculous as it was on October 7 and afterwards to hear from Netanyahu’s supporters that the one who is to blame is the IDF chief of staff, the Shin Bet chief, the attorney general and the Military Advocate General, and that Netanyahu has no part in it — it’s as ridiculous as it is that now they’re saying, “Thank you Trump and thank you Nitzan Alon, and thank you to all of them and to the Qatari prime minister, and Netanyahu and Ron Dermer have nothing to do with it at all.” Indeed, Netanyahu had a very large part in the failure of October 7, and he also has a very large part together with Dermer in this deal.
