UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell explains the Trinity to SNEAKO using a simple water analogy 💧✝️ “But they all are water. Baby, you see I’m saying, and it don’t make sense because ice is not water, steam is not water, but they are, you know what I’m saying. It’s just...

Here's an even easier explanation. God can do whatever the fuck he wants...

Bryce just committed a heresy called Modalism because it states God appears in different modes (Father, Son, Spirit) rather than existing eternally as three distinct, co-existing Persons within one Godhead

Bro that’s heresy. I think it just easier to say this “There are three Persons in the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory.” This explains the Trinity in simple terms.

Guys the trinity has never been clearly explained because it’s illogical. Every pope and Christian scholar that actually tried to ended up becoming a Muslim 😭

@ThugnastyMMA, talk to an Orthodox Priest; you have a very false godhead, and it is an ancient heresy. Look at this sun illustration for better insight and read about the Essence-Energy Distinction. Do not rely on your own interpretation and philosophical notions about God.

That’s modalism a heresy. He’s not a theologian or super high IQ but he is sincere in his faith so I do like him.

Listen to Jesus there is no trinity there is only 1 God and Father Jehovah. Do you think Satan would even be allowed to try and tempt God ? How could he offer all the world if God already owns it? How could God worship Satan? "Truth Sets Free"

Ice is water and steam is water — same substance, different states. But that analogy still fails because it implies one thing switching forms, which Christianity explicitly rejects. God isn’t one person changing modes; He’s one essence existing simultaneously as three persons.

It's us as a human trying to makes sense of it cos in reality we can't comprehend the concept of trinity

You’re created in the image of god. The trinity exists in you. Body, mind and soul. They are different, but the same. We can’t use physics or human logic to explain the existence of god. That in itself would be putting you next to god. No go.

The Holy Trinity is a Mystery. I like St. Augustine's attempt at analogy: I am, I know that I am, and I delight (love) in that being and knowing. This triad—being (esse), knowing (nosse), and loving (dilectione)—mirrors the divine life without fully comprehending its mystery.

Destroyed him in the end. john17:3 Jesus says The Father is the ONLY TRUE GOD. So which is the only true water? 😂😂😂

This is technically the heresy of modalism because God does not become the Son or the Holy Spirit in the way that water becomes ice or steam. BUT it is a good rudimentary way to help people understand the trinity. Also, Jesus was not created. He is eternal.

Many analogies fail: a rock’s imprint in sand is imperfect; a child resembles parents but is not identical. Closer to the mystery: when you think to yourself, your inner word (he voice in your head) is perfectly you—yet distinct enough for real dialogue. In God, who is absolute perfection: the Father eternally “speaks” perfect self-knowledge as His inner Word, which is the Son (Jesus Christ)—fully God, yet distinct. Father and Son then gaze upon each other in perfect love, “breathing forth” that mutual love as the Holy Spirit—again fully God, yet distinct. One God in three Persons: Lover, Beloved, and the Love between them.

Water is composed of hydrogen and oxygen. So they believe in a composed god? Composition is unification of parts. Everything that is composed depends on its part. Anything that is dependent cannot be god.

John 1 sums it up. I John 5:7 NKJV [7] For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

Father represents Jehovah from the Old Testament. The Son represents first coming of Jesus Christ The Holy Spirit represents the Second Coming of Christ.

I get that this analogy is trying to protect monotheism, but it actually muddies what the Bible is doing. Water, ice, and steam are one substance appearing in different modes, one at a time. That works fine for chemistry, but it breaks down the moment you open the Gospels. Jesus isn’t God changing states. He prays to the Father, submits to the Father, sends the Spirit, and promises another who will speak, teach, and act. Those are not phase shifts. They are real relationships and ordered roles. Biblically, God is one, not divided, not competing, not multiplied. Yet within that oneness there is distinction, procession, and revelation. The Father is the source. The Word is spoken and embodied. The Spirit is breathed and active. Not three gods, not one God wearing masks, but one God made known in a structured, relational way that unfolds through history. That’s why simple analogies always fall short. God isn’t a riddle to be solved with physics. He’s a living reality revealed through action, obedience, love, and authority. The goal isn’t to make God “make sense” on our terms, but to let Scripture set the terms and follow where it leads. If the explanation collapses prayer, obedience, and sending into a single actor switching forms, it’s probably oversimplifying something Scripture intentionally holds in tension.

So when ice dies, does water and steam die?

Zaki 的头像

So, water changes when heated to steam and when freezed it becomes ice. So by that analogy your god changes with circumstances? Is that what he means?
