American Airlines Flight 5342 Crash update: On January 29, the Black Hawk crew did not execute visual separation effectively as per a report by New York Times. It has been revealed that the pilot flying the Black Hawk that crashed into a plane, claiming the lives of 67 people, repeatedly ignored commands to lower her altitude and a final order to turn left, which would have avoided the collision. The pilot who was flying was given multiple warnings and was directly told by her instructor/copilot to turn the opposite direction of the passenger jet to avoid a collision. A helicopter pilot is ordered to lift and intercept an object coming in from Norway at night. He’s “twenty meters over the treetops” in moonlight over snow with clear visibility. Then an object flies under the helicopter, over the treetops, with “a small passage of twenty meters” in front of them. It was “an elongated rocket like thing with no wings, no lights, nothing” and it just disappears. ALERT: Hot air balloon crashes into the side of a casino as strong winds forced an unplanned launch in Northern California. Elk Grove police said the pilot, who was the only person on board, took off from Sky River Casino around noon due to extremely strong winds, crashed into the side of the building, before hitting a power line, and finally landed in a field across the highway. In a nationwide first, a drone was successfully used to disarm an armed suspect, helping bring the incident to a safe resolution. Sacramento Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Detail (SWAT) had the residence surrounded. The known felon and Parolee-At-Large was seen earlier with a firearm. After not responding to negotiators, a drone was deployed inside the residence. Drone pilots located the suspect hiding in a corner of a garage. One of his hands was concealed under his body, and the other was holding a knife. He was obviously alive, but not responding. Was he pretending to be dead or simply lying in wait for deputies to approach? Rather than rush into a potentially deadly encounter, one drone pilot came up with an innovative solution. By attaching a powerful magnet to the drone, the pilot was able to safely remove the knife from the suspect’s hand before deputies moved in. It was an incredible display of creativity, skill, and precision by the drone pilot. It’s also worth noting that our drones are labeled as “military equipment” (even though anyone can purchase them at their local Walmart), but are really just another piece of technology helping deputies resolve dangerous situations safely. Their use protects both law enforcement personnel and suspects.

Last year we saw Jim Gavin fly a drone in a red zone ⛔️ now we see a pilot operating over the crown on Achil island yesterday as Sam was brought across the bridge from the mainland. The drone hovers over the heads of hundreds of people including the cup itself and the Gardai. The IAA define a crowd as 13 people who have to be able to move, to avoid the drone if it falls. Does the drone pilot have an operator i.d ? Did he ask the consent of the crowd ? Does he have insurance ? Did he keep that drone in visual line of sight at all times ? Seems its one rule for them and one rule for us again. Up Mayo.

There was absolutely no problem in the aircraf, there was no technical failure in the aircraft as far as we know...My deepest condolences. Captain Sumit Kapoor was a very good friend of mine. He was a brother to me. His son is also a pilot with us. Captain Shambhavi Pathak was a daughter to me. Both of them were extremely good human beings and extremely good pilots..." On the 2023 plane crash incident, he says, "What happened in 2023 occurred at Mumbai airport. It was raining then too and the visibility was low. The pilot skidded off the runway after touchdown. So, that was the incident..."
