Mix and Earth talking about how stressful it was to film the emotional scenes with limited time. 🐻 This is also a lesson for actors too. If in the future something like this happens again. If we have to race against time. We have to don’t take it to heart. This is the very essence of what makes liberal discourse on this topic such a fantasy land. Bret is presupposing that we even CAN study things like racial differences objectively and without bias. He believes if Cofnas’ arguments are true, then surely the data will prove it after apathetic scientists objectively study it. Hmmm. What happened to Charles Murray again? This concept of blank slatism is the root of all liberal theology. And to even study it at all is blasphemy, let alone challenging it. And yet even with it being heresy, there is still a remarkable amount of data that has been produced. But even if there was NO DATA, it wouldn’t matter. Becuase we don’t need to look to a laboratory. It is our consistent, predictable observation of reality that has given us the confidence to assert that race is of course a reality. If the ‘science’ hasn’t proven this reality yet, then there is something wrong with the science. I’ll give you an example: it’s the 1600s. Apples keeps falling on our heads every where we go. The science tells us that it’s just our imagination, and if an apple does verifiably fall on us, then it must be a problem with the tree, because it obviously didn’t give the apple enough nutrients. We take as good a care of the trees as possible. Bankrupting the entire village to do so. The apples keep falling.

How science works according to Nobel Prize winner Thomas Südhof: Very often, politicians think that you can tell scientists what they’re supposed to discover. You can’t! Scientists don’t know what they are going to discover. They have to try things. They have to have curiosity and ideas, but they also have to have the knowledge to try things. Very often, it leads to nothing; it’s a waste. But we didn’t know when we started it’s a waste. But when something does work. When something clicks, it is exciting and rewarding but it’s never just one click. You get a result on it, you’re hopeful, you build on it. Maybe it’s confirmed you’re even more hopeful. So it’s an incremental process. It is never one thing - boom we discovered a major thing, my god this is it. It is more like walking up a flight of stairs where each step counts and the higher up the stairs you go the better you can see what’s on top and become excited about what’s there and how you can use.
