When I visited Mexico, my friends and I were walking to the beach, along the way we all see some guy making drinks on the sidewalk. He had a tray next to him, and he was filling up these drinks from pitchers right on the sidewalk. He would then put straws on the drinks, sometimes his fingers would touch the drink itself and I saw he wiped his fingers on his shirt. After we got settled in and were hanging out at the beach, I saw that same guy with the drinks on a tray. It was clear to me these were the same unsanitary drinks we saw him mixing on the sidewalk. This is another reason I don’t buy from this style of vendor. If I see it’s unsanitary especially in another country, then it’s hard to be excited about getting one. This vendor was letting this man sample his drinks by dripping some of the drink onto his hand with a straw that even touched the man’s hand. I w on under how many hands did that straw touch before he put it back in the drink. I’ve always been worried about getting sick off of the local cuisine in many foreign places and I don’t see any reason to take a risk if I don’t have to. The first time I went to Asia, my stomach wasn’t used to the food and I had a stomach ache for days. I lived off of soda and fruit shortly after. Nowadays I’ve wised up and when I go to places like that, I only go to resorts and will only eat and drink at the resorts. While they might not be the cleanest, maybe they are, at least I know they are wearing gloves and have a standard of cleanliness and answer to their health department. Something I know these overnight vendors don’t do.

The US spent decades trying to break John D. Rockefeller, and the day it finally won, it turned him into the most powerful man in history. At his peak, his fortune was worth close to 2% of the entire American economy. He got there by taking control of 90% of all the oil in America, the one resource the entire economy ran on. And right now a small group of companies controls AI, search, and the cloud, and Washington is once again talking about breaking them apart. Rockefeller already ran this exact "experiment" a hundred years ago. Here's how it ended and what it tells us about the current AI situation: He started with a single oil refinery in Cleveland in the 1860s, and within about 20 years he had swallowed almost the entire industry. When people finally figured out how he did it, the country was horrified. Everyone assumes Rockefeller won because he made cheaper oil. But what he actually did was turn the railroads into a weapon against everyone else. Rockefeller shipped more oil than anyone in the country, so he squeezed the railroads for secret discounts on every barrel he moved. Then he took it somewhere nobody else dared... He cut a deal called a drawback: - Every time a competitor shipped a barrel of oil, the railroad charged them full price - Then the railroad handed a slice of that payment straight to Rockefeller - His rivals were paying a fee that funded the man trying to destroy them - And most of them had no idea it was even happening That deal lived inside a scheme called the South Improvement Company in 1872. When word leaked, the public outrage was so loud the railroads scrapped it within weeks. But it did not matter. Rockefeller had already used the threat. In a matter of weeks in 1872, he pressured 23 refiners in Cleveland into selling out to him. Historians still call it the Cleveland Massacre. After that, his playbook barely changed. He would slash his prices in a town until the local refiner went bankrupt, buy the wreckage for pennies, then push the prices right back up. Refiner by refiner, city by city, he took the entire industry. Then a journalist named Ida Tarbell went after him: Her own father had been one of the small oilmen Rockefeller crushed. Starting in 1902, she published an investigation in McClure's magazine that laid out every rebate, every drawback, and every dirty tactic in brutal detail. For the first time, the public saw exactly how the empire had been built. And the government finally moved. In 1911, the Supreme Court ruled that Standard Oil was an illegal monopoly and ordered it broken into 34 separate companies. It was supposed to be the end of him. But the breakup made Rockefeller richer than he had EVER been. He still owned a giant stake in every one of those 34 new companies. Set free to compete in their own regions, the pieces were suddenly worth more apart than they had ever been together. The value of his holdings roughly DOUBLED. By 1916, John D. Rockefeller became the first billionaire in history. The government had spent years trying to strip him of his power, and the punishment handed him the biggest fortune the world had ever seen. And those 34 companies never went away either. They grew into Exxon, Chevron, Mobil, and Amoco, the core of what we now call Big Oil. Exxon alone is worth more than $600 billion today. Standard Oil did not actually die in 1911. Its pieces just kept getting bigger. Which brings us back to now: The government wants to run it all over again, this time against the companies that own AI. They already convinced a judge that Google runs an illegal monopoly over search, and it has pushed to carve the company apart. Amazon, Apple, and Meta are each fighting antitrust cases of their own. Everyone assumes a breakup would finally cut these giants down to size. History says the opposite tends to happen. When you shatter a monopoly, the founders and the big shareholders do not lose a thing. They walk away owning a slice of every company that falls out of it. Each of those pieces gets set loose to grow in its own lane, and the market re-prices them one by one. The parts almost always end up worth more than the whole ever was. Rockefeller's fortune doubled after 1911. Then it happened AGAIN... In 1984, the government broke AT&T into seven Baby Bells to end the phone monopoly. Within about 20 years, those pieces had merged back into two giants, AT&T and Verizon, that now pull in more than $260 billion a year between them and dominate the market all over again. Investors who simply held the pieces saw their stake climb more than 600% in the years that followed. So when you hear that Washington is coming for the companies that own AI, remember what happened the last two times. The monopoly did not die. It split into pieces, the pieces got bigger, and the people who owned them got richer.

Here is Andrew Wilson glad that a fatwah was put on Charlie Kirk’s head for his messaging. Today Andrew is in mourning over the death so he can’t debate me after requesting a 4 hour block. I call bullshit. There’s something so sick about using tragedy to manipulate. I’ll be straight up with you guys I cried when I heard about Charlie Kirk. And according to my own rules that’s gay because tears are for beauty and victory. I didn’t even know him and it felt like I got punched in the gut. And I was just thinking how to make the debate funny to lighten peoples load on a time of sadness. This sneaky fuck will do anything to avoid debating me after his callout. And now will use this tweet to say how cold and callous I am to disrespect Charlie Kirk like that. All good bro. I’m gonna do the presentation I worked hard on at 330 pm pst. While Andrew mourns in a black veil. I’m not political. I made fun of Charlie a lot in 2017 but just for acting gay it was light. Over the years he grew on me. You intense political guys when you play these games don’t act like victims when people get hurt. Charlie’s speeches by the end hat a spirit of optimism. Like he was talking from a place of love. It may have come from having kids. He wasn’t acting like a Shapiro clone anymore. I felt it today before I even found out I had this tingle like the stars were vibrating a little and I felt weepy. I assumed it was joy thinking about annihilating Andrew Wilson but it almost felt like an energy of someone going home. See you guys at 330

"You're a scumbag... how do you even look yourself in the mirror?" She said after we presented her with an offer above list price This is the story of how we closed the biggest deal in Frasier Cole history after one person and one conversation fueled a legendary revenge deal: November 15th, 2021, 1,323 days ago, 6 months into us starting Frasier Cole, we were working with a buyer who was in exchange. We already had 2 deals under contract with them and they really needed a 3rd to complete the exchange. We saw a deal that had been listed 2 days previously and it fit the clients criteria and remaining amount in their exchange. Best of all, we had a relationship with the listing brokerage as we are already under contract with them on another deal for this client's exchange. Asking price was $5m and we offered $5,090,000 30 day look/10 day close. 2 hours later we received a call from the CEO of the company. She started off cordial because, well, Mason had a prior professional relationship with this woman. Things quickly turned when she asked Mason "How he looked himself in the mirror?" and telling him he a "scumbag who only cares about low hanging fruit?" "Under no circumstance will we be paying you any commission on this deal. Your client is welcome to buy it but we will be keeping the entire fee" The reason was because she's known our client for years and because we already are under contract on a deal with this company. Our response was "If you know the buyer so well, why didn't you show him this deal?" That only made her more angry... so she said they let the other deal slide but this one they have no intention of paying a commission. Mind you, this woman makes $1-2m a year. We told the client and they were unwilling to pay our fee. Mason and I were pissed - what could we do? We have no signed buyer rep agreement and no recourse. We could let it go, move on, take the high road... F*ck that We started thinking of ways to get revenge... The best idea we could come up with that night is to buy their office building, rezone it for MF, and kick 'em out. It worked because it was a shitty office building on maybe the best development tract in Dallas. We looked up the owner of their office building and immediately called him "Would you sell 5550 LBJ?" "Yeah, actually this is perfect timing we just sorted out a title issue and are looking to sell." "Great, we'll get you an offer and take it from there" Holy sh*t We immediately called one of my best friends and college roommate Dustin who worked for a PE group in NYC. They loved the deal. What's not to love? 8.5 acres, 364k SF of office, and an existing parking garage. 17% occupied and all had short term leases or were willing to be bought out. Within a couple weeks we had an incredible offer to put in front of the owner and we were off to the races. That deal closed late yesterday after 1,322 days of working on it. Funny enough, the CEO who wronged us already moved their company out of the property before we were able to close. That's fine. Before they left, she found out that we had put the deal together. We heard she yelled at her office and land broker because they couldn't sell the building they were working in. We are now on to bigger and better things, but this one feels good. --- The story of the actual deal is an incredible one, but I wanted to highlight how it came about. I will post the story of the actual transaction soon, but for now... enjoy our revenge story

So yeah, after watching it yesterday for the 5th #ChristmasDay in a row, there is no denial: Patty Jenkins’s #WonderWoman1984 became my Post-Covid #Christmas movie staple. I think I’ll never forget the preview night when it came out, with the film in theatres during just a short evening, because of the announcement that, from that night or, depending on the city, on the following day which was supposed to be its opening day, all theatres would be closed for the following 6 months in the U.K. The rush to get to the nearest theatre still open that evening when the lockdown announcement came, we had to go all the way from London to Maidenhead to be able to watch it on that THU, as the preview screenings that evening in London were being canceled… I was so excited for that film for over 2 years, and somehow I knew that would be the one and only opportunity to see it in theatres. And I was so damn right! I think I never understood, till that point, how much movies, movie theatres and the moviegoing experience were important to me. They’ve always been there as part of my life, I’ve always taken them for granted. Until, all of sudden, they weren’t. And for a moment, #WW84 would be the last blockbuster we would see in a movie theatre, for a long while. That day for me was like our last, desperate way to hold on to the old normal pre-Covid. And in a way, in my mind, I was saying good bye to those Pre-Covid times without even knowing it. When theatres reopened again, 6 months later, things never got back to where they were. On top of a period already challenging as it as, my mother passed away within that bleak period, 2 weeks before theatres reopened. While some say ironically or mockingly that we went through a Great Reset, to me it was a literal reset. A forced one I was never consulted about nor agreed with. But life goes on, and we had to move on with it - but never losing that hope deep inside that, one day, we would have that life pre-Covid back. And that’s how #WonderWoman1984 deeply connected with me, I believe even more on the following Christmas in 2021, when things got scarily more relatable after that tough year. The film had all the messages I needed just on the right time. All the social unrest, forced division and global turmoil that followed from 2021 onwards, mixed with that longing desire to have back a life and the people that I would never have again, it felt like that film was predicting what we were about to go through in the following years, while offering its perspective on how to - and how not to - deal with most of these phantoms. And every time I rewatch it, I appreciate it a bit more. All those beautiful, powerful messages still stand and they feel even more meaningful now than they already were back in DEC 2020. They remind me of what we used to be as society, but also remind me of what we still can be, depending on the path we decide to take. And I know, I know - on this app, that movie means different things for different people, or even it might be the case it feels meaningless for some. I totally understand, respect and appreciate the diversity of opinions around it, and I see where they are coming from. I’ll never fight about your own views about the movie or your experience with it. That’s the magic of the movies after all, resonate differently with different people, as a collective but diverse experience. But to me it has a deeper meaning, and I love revisiting it time and time again. Until next Christmas!

I did not know that it was my parrotlet Sokka’s last day today but it was at least a good one. He was on his playstand and playing in his paper bag fort while I was cooking. He doesn’t get fruit often because of the sugar content but I gave him some mango, to which he replied “om nom nom” in his tiny voice. which I taught him to say years ago when eating. I thought about what kind of fruit cake I could make him for his 10th birthday next month. But lucky for him I was also cooking peppers. Pepper seeds are his favorite thing on the planet and though I usually only give him one pepper’s worth today he got two. He was his normal peppy self most of the day. He had had two suspected seizure/stroke episodes starting exactly a year ago and this looked very much like this. They lasted half an hour and then he was back to being his spunky self again. I consulted the vet both times. I gave him a vitamin supplement the vet prescribed that I thought was working well. She did warn me that they could continue but he seemed to be doing well with the vitamins. I was just about to grab dinner down the street when I noticed he was quiet and standing at his food dish but not eating. Thank goodness I noticed so I could be there for him. I called up the emergency vet and let them know we were coming. Then Sokka got to have one last car ride. Sokka loved the car. He was always well behaved and we did many road trips together Including driving from Texas to Connecticut. On our way to the vet Sokka was very weak and fighting to stay conscious and was resting his head against the back of the carrier. But at one point he used all his strength to move to the front of the carrier so he could watch the sunset with me. I kept telling him “you’re a big bird!” and “he’s so cute!” because those are some of his favorite phrases to say, and during previous episodes he would say it back to me as he was recovering. I was half expecting him to fully recover before we got to the vet as he had done the other two times. But this time he wasn’t getting better and I could tell. We got to the vet and she said I did everything right but was not optimistic. Limiting stress is important with birds especially 1oz ones bc it can worsen their condition so she gave me my options for treatment and one of them was humane euthanasia. I held him in my hands and pet him knowing it could be the last time. I selected the option to see if the vet hospital could do anything for him. But shortly after I started driving he passed on the way to the vet hospital. At least he died doing what he loved, going for a ride in the car. I am relieved I did not have to make the most difficult choice to end his life for him, and that he went quickly and peacefully with a full belly of pepper seeds and mango and during one last sunset car ride. Some people will think “it’s just a bird” but those who know me understand how much he meant to me and how intelligent parrots are. Parrotlets are know for being a big personality in a tiny body. I got him a month after I graduated college and he’s been with me nearly 10 years since so basically my whole adult life. He was a big responsibility (that i don’t recommend to ppl without an exotic avian husbandry background) but I didn’t mind and now I feel a hole where those duties and companionship are no longer. If you actually read all or some of this, thank you, it means a lot to me, really. Going to be spending the next weeks just trying to ground myself and not fuck up my mental health again. I’ll share a separate more happy post about my favorite memories when I’m in the mood. For now here’s my favorite video of him even though he’s not speaking in it, and some baby pics from the first day I met him in 2014 in the comments.

Bill Clinton Isn’t Just Involved In Raping Underage Children With Jeffrey Epstein On Epstein Island Interview Claiming Bill Clinton Involved In Murder, International Crack Cocaine Trafficking Alongside The CIA “Bill’s nose is like a vacuum cleaner in that cocaine pile” “Owes you fifty thousand dollars every time my wheels land. What are you talking about? He says, I can't get caught in Mena, Arkansas. And later on whenever I would, so he was working with, he had CIA connections, I don't know where he'd flown with, and also Bill Clinton was the government man or the governor. ‌ So I ain't seen nothing more about that. I hear that they call it Arkansas up there instead of Homicide. And plus, I don't know anything. I never met those gentlemen. I didn't fool with it. That was Barry's end of the story. But anybody wants to look, just read about what happened in MENA Arkansas. And that movie that they made that they called America Made was written as MENA. And when Hillary was running for president the Democratic Party stopped it, and even the director quit. And they changed part of the script, and they changed the name to America Made. The whole thing's about me and Arkansas and Bill Clinton and a couple of boys that got killed on a railroad track and put up there by the sheriff to get chopped up. And there's some stories there. They got Clinton'd. They claim it is him. ‌ I'm glad I didn't meet him. Looked like he was on a plane somewhere that he shouldn't have been here recently, too. Yep. He's got a couple paintings down there, too, from what I hear. Yeah. His brother, Roger, got caught with cocaine, and he pardoned him, but he didn't pardon me. And Roger Clinton says that Bill's nose is like a vacuum cleaner in that cocaine pile. ‌ But he didn't inhale. That's just a good point. That's, yeah, hey, you know. Presidents are just such fine people sometimes. They are some very trustworthy individuals, aren't they? They'll put you in prison. He went in and he raised the penalty for crack cocaine 100 times. They just say, just political prostitutes is all they are. Yeah. That's the word for them. I'm on, I like that. I'm going to use that. ‌ So Barry was tied in with the Clintons, the CIA, and he had free rein to land wherever he wants. He's not gonna get caught in Arkansas. Absolutely. So it was a little far to go up to Mena, so I talked to Escobar and him, and they said, well, that's no problem. So I landed there myself to do a load, and they put a fella named Benjamin Ben in the plane with me, and we went up to a landing strip there in Nicaragua. And I met the generals and all that. They said, land right here. Just come in, don't say a thing on the radio. Just land anytime you want to. And we'll refuel you and you get food, whatever you want. We'll wash you when children, you'll be on your way. So. How do you make these connections? I didn't make them in Ocho and Escobar. — I think they had used him over in Southeast Asia. It was a CIA conversion of some kind of a Piper plane. It was a CIA conversion and he had access? Right, they had made it and that's what they was flying over out of Burma and Vietnam behind the lines over there. They were real quiet. They put big, heavy, wide blade propellers on them and put Q-tips and you couldn't hear the propeller noise. No kidding. So they were I bought, I think, seven of them. It was $400,000 a piece. So were these open market? Yeah. You could buy them.” I can’t transcribe it all due to X’s text limits but this is an excellent listen!

William and Catherine invited a friendly postman, a trusted shopkeeper and his wife, the loyal landlord of the Middletons local Bucklebury village pub and their lovely butcher to share their special wedding day. This is what they said about The Prince and Princess of Wales 🤵🏼👰🏻‍♀️ Pub landlord John Haley of the Old Boot Inn spoke of his astonishment at receiving an invitation, even though at that point he has known the Middleton family for over 14 years. “William and Kate have been to my pub about ten times in the past year. They come in, sit quietly at the table, drink wine and are a lovely couple. They’ve been in to dine and talk to the regulars naturally. They come in and relax; they mingle with other customers, not at arm's length or anything; they're just a normal couple. When [William came into the pub], it was a bit, 'Wow, it's Prince William.' But he soon put everyone at ease, and now he's been in several times. It's a great honour. I've known the family for a long time. They are a lovely, normal family, and I'm very happy for Kate.” Mr Shingadia, who runs the local shop, said: ‘We’re over the moon, absolutely thrilled. I have known Catherine for six years. “She comes in regularly. She has brought William in on about three or four occasions. The first time, having a Prince in my store was mind-blowing. He likes Viennetta ice cream, and he buys that a lot. I’ve got to know him better each time. What’s lovely about him is even though he meets many people, he still remembers my daughter’s name. Meera is only 11, but he also asks how she gets on at school. He did that genuinely, showing he cares and thinks about the people he meets. William came in a short while back when they went to a friend’s wedding in Gloucester. He asked how I was getting on and about my family, and asked how his grandma was doing The first time she brought him in, it was a total shock; we didn't recognise him immediately, but when they did the shop, she introduced him. I shook his hand, and he spoke to us for a while. You could see there was chemistry between them, and the way they looked at each other, you could see a lot of love between them. "She is charming and very approachable. She's got a natural radiance about her. A sort of presence. She's always smiling and very polite. Calm and collected. "Feeling very nervous, my wife and I get quite anxious as the time gets nearer. At the moment, there are butterflies in our stomachs." Another guest is postman Ryan Naylor, whose bag has been getting heavier by the day because of Kate’s huge fan mail. Mr Shingadia said: “Ryan came in at the beginning of the week, even though he is not our postman. He was so excited he wanted to tell us he had also been invited.” When The Mail on Sunday approached Mr Naylor on his round in the village, he declined to comment, saying only: “I deliver to the Middleton family. Kate’s a friendly, natural, lovely girl.” Local butcher said; “We're over the moon! I've got my morning suit; my wife's got her outfit; we feel it's a great privilege to be asked to attend the royal wedding. She's such a bubbly, natural, stunning girl. Together, she and William are just one piece; let's face it: they were made for each other. I'm not surprised [about locals being invited]. This is where she was born, brought up, and educated. We're a tightly-knit community; everybody knows everybody and looks out for each other. She's not forgotten where her roots are (Catherine’s roots run deep and have stayed true to herself) 🥺🥰 Anybody is brave marrying into the royal family; it's a tough job. Kate's got the will, the mind, and the strength to go alongside William, and they'll carry this through." ✨ Prince William and Catherine are authentic, grounded, and kind-hearted individuals with a strong, loving bond, surrounded by a supportive family and tight-knit community. ❤️ #PrinceWilliam #PrincessCatherine

Israel Foreign Ministry Falsely Claims Palestinians Tore Apart A Beached Whale In one of the more freakish acts of genocide propaganda we’ve seen in the last two years, the official Twitter account of the Israel Foreign Ministry made a post smearing desperate, starving civilians as cruel savages using the false allegation that they “tore apart” a “whale” that had become “stranded” on the beach. “Gazans tore apart a stranded whale on the beach. This is cruelty that knows no limits. But we didn’t hear anything about it from Greta PR Thunberg,” the ministry tweeted, with accompanying footage of people using ropes to move the body of a sea creature on the beach. There’s a lot to unpack about this one, but bear with me, because while this one instance of propaganda wouldn’t even make a Top Ten Thousand list of the most evil things Israel has done, it says so much about the way this genocidal apartheid state dehumanizes the Palestinian people. A quick glance shows that the animal in the video is not a “whale” at all but a whale shark, easily recognizable by the distinct spots and ridges on its back which no species of whale possesses. Whale sharks are not a type of whale at all, but the world’s largest species of fish, so named only because of their immense size. Israel’s Foreign Ministry falsely claimed the animal was a “whale” because “starving civilians eat a fish” does not make for good propaganda if you’re trying to frame them as loathsome barbarians. Whales, unlike fish, can survive for hours or even days if they become stranded on land because they breathe air. The post is crafted to convey the image of a bunch of uncivilized subhumans ripping apart a sentient mammal while still alive in order to pull at the heart strings of western environmentalists. There is no such thing as a “stranded” fish; there are fish in the water and there are dead fish. The whale shark in the video was dead, and had probably been dead for some time. To be clear, the Israeli government did not innocently misidentify a species of fish as a whale. The Israeli press had already reported that a whale shark had been butchered for food on the shores of Gaza, after having previously reported on sightings of the animal off Israel’s shores weeks earlier. They knew it was a dead shark, and they made the cold, calculated decision to circulate the lie that a whale had become beached on Gaza and met an agonizing end at the hands of the locals there. In a sense this is a distinction without a difference, because only a monster would begrudge starving civilians feeding their children with actual whale meat in desperate times anyway. There is an overwhelming and consistent consensus among humanitarian aid groups that the people of Gaza are being starved by Israel. But the fact that they’d go out of their way to lie about such a thing in order to make Palestinians look like depraved vermin really illustrates the hateful intensity with which Israel wants to exterminate these people. I mean, think about it. Firstly, on its face the Israeli government is suggesting that the lives of Palestinians are worth less than the life of a single whale. Just that one fact, all by itself, shows you how low the Israelis rank the value of Palestinian life in the grand order of things. Then they had to Israelify their position even more by lying about it, falsely claiming that a beached whale was torn apart by primitive sadists who should have instead helped the animal return to sea. An animal that they knew was dead. Then they Israelified it even further by adding in their freakish obsession with activist Greta Thunberg, who recently confirmed earlier reports that she was tortured and sexually humiliated by Israeli forces after being abducted for trying to bring aid to Gaza. Then they somehow managed to make it even more Israeli by adding in hypocrisy, accusing the Palestinians of “cruelty that knows no limits” after spending two years inflicting unfathomable suffering upon that population in full view of the entire world. Imagine surviving two years of genocidal atrocities, starving, watching your children starve, getting hungrier and hungrier and more and more desperate, and then along comes this giant fish that could feed many families. It would feel like a gift from God. Imagine the elation you would feel. And then imagine learning that your tormenters had somehow found a way to spin even this miraculous, life-giving moment of relief as something cruel and barbaric. Israeli propagandists would have seen Palestinians sharing videos celebrating their joy about the whale shark and recognized that if the footage isn’t carefully framed in a cunning way, it could actually bring hope to the people of Gaza and their supporters. So they made their very best effort to drop a big, steaming turd on it in order to kill those hopes. Israel has done so many stunningly evil things to the Palestinians that it almost feels trivial to focus on this single act of social media propaganda today. But I expect this one will stick with me, just because of how much it says about Israel and its abusiveness. Reading by Tim Foley:

Valentine's is a day to celebrate love. This post is to show love for John Fetterman. His backstory on Israel is one you probably don't know, and it explains why his support is unlike anything we've seen in a long time, if ever. Almost every pro-Israel user on Twitter/X remembers Fetterman draping himself in the Israeli flag at a massive pro-Israel rally. And who could forget him climbing on his roof to wave the Israeli flag to taunt the pro-Hamas "protesters" who descended upon his home? But the background is deeply moving. The origin story of Fetterman's profound love for the Jewish people -- like so many great love stories -- was borne out of tragedy. On October 27, 2018, a gunman entered the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh on Shabbat morning, murdering 11 and wounding six. Fetterman lived a short drive from Tree of Life, and he was called almost immediately after the authorities knew about the shootings. At the time, Fetterman was in the home stretch of his ultimately successful campaign for Lt. Governor. Within moments of learning about the mass murder, John Fetterman did something unthinkable. He personally called his Republican opponent in that race, Jeff Bartos, who is Jewish. As Bartos told Politico, Fetterman told him, "I’m so sorry to be the one to call you, but I just got off the phone with the governor. There’s a shooting happening right now at a synagogue in Pittsburgh. It’s going to be bad." Perhaps most amazing is this little nugget, revealing how little exposure Fetterman apparently had until that point to the Jewish community. Bartos explained that he called Fetterman back later that same day and said, "I’m calling to let you know that you’re a mensch. And he chuckled and said, ‘Is that a good thing or a bad thing?'" He didn't know the word "mensch." Let that sink in. Just five years before U.S. Senator John Fetterman became one of the greatest champions of Israel and the Jewish people, he didn't know perhaps one of the most common Yiddish expressions -- one that even most non-Jewish Americans know. One of the ugliest memes out there is that Fetterman supports Israel because of -- wait for it -- Jewish money. That's a hateful two-fer, cheapening the powerful roots of Fetterman's beliefs while (as usual) trotting out the ugly trope that Jews just buy support. I hate that this is even necessary to explain, but Jews have low enough standards that we are easily impressed. Think of it like "Dayenu," the famous song recited at Passover Seder each year. Basically, it means that if G-d had done any one of these things, it would have been "dayenu" -- enough for us. If Fetterman had just voted to support pro-Israel resolutions after Oct 7 and given a few milquetoast speeches, dayenu. If Fetterman had just stuck it to those tearing down posters of hostages by wallpapering his Senate office with those same posters, dayenu. If Fetterman had just told Jake Tapper 🦅 on CNN that he didn't understand why it's controversial to support Israel as the Jewish state is fighting to eliminate Hamas, dayenu. If Fetterman had simply highlighted that those protesting for a ceasefire are not also calling for the hostages to be released or for Hamas to surrender, dayenu. If Fetterman had only gone back to his Senate office and come out waving a small Israeli flag to taunt pro-Hamas "protesters" as they were getting arrested by Capitol Police, dayenu. Of all his words, though, Fetterman showed his simple greatness when he said that Israel has the "imperative to destroy Hamas." There are no truer words as Israel somberly prepares to enter Rafah to strike one -- hopefully last -- mighty blow against Hamas. I hope that after people read -- and share -- this post, they will join me in declaring U.S. Senator John Fetterman as the Valentine for Israel, the Jewish people, and the many millions of righteous supporters of the Jewish state. Even that would not be "dayenu" for all Fetterman has done since Oct 7, but it's the best place to start on Valentine's.

jihoon’s sleep paralysis is so bad that he went in and out of it more than 10 times during his massage today :( he couldnt even sleep and get some rest even if he had the time to :( i feel so bad :( 🐶 right after I got back to Korea, I went to get a massage. while I was getting the massage, I ended up getting sleep paralysis. 🐶 u know how it is, right? when you get sleep paralysis, you wake up - fall asleep - get sleep paralysis - wake up - fall asleep - boom sleep paralysis. over and over. u know you’re trapped in that cycle, but you can’t escape it because you’re so tired that you keep falling back asleep 🐶 im like “ah im probably gonna get sleep paralysis again” but at the same time you think, “maybe this round will be different” 🐶 but no, I got sleep paralysis so many times. I seriously got stuck in an endless loop. I was trying so hard to snap out of it, like moving around and struggling, and then when I finally woke up, the massage therapist was like 👩🏻 oh? are you okay? is this position uncomfortable for you? 🐶 so I pretended it was that and went “ah yeah im okimokimok” 🐶 then I fell asleep again, and it happened again. I’d move around, wake up, and they’d ask me if im okay. i say yes. this happened like three or four times. 🐶 then later they put something warm on me. but when they did, I suddenly got kind of scared because I was already in that weird state, so I asked, “how long does this stay on for?” and they said about 7 minutes. by then I’d already had sleep paralysis like four times in a row. every time it happened, i’d wake up - sleep paralysis - wake up - sleep paralysis just over and over. 🐶 anyway, after it was all done 👩🏻 does your body feel okay now? 🐶 oh yeah yeah my body feels great. yes yes I think I feel really good 🐶 my manager said he could give me a ride, but since the other hyungs had just gotten back to Korea too, I was like, “no everyone go home and rest. its Sunday anyway, I’ll go by myself.” 🐶 so I was dragging myself home thinking, “should I just lie down and sleep right here on the street?” but it was so hot today, and the back of my neck was burning from the heat. I pulled myself together and got home. 🐶 honestly, I was planning to sleep. I thought I’d sleep for like three hours after getting home, but I just couldn’t fall asleep. And seriously, this is torture. the suffering of insomnia is real. people who can actually sleep when they want to sleep are seriously amazing. 🐶 I really tried today. I turned on the styler, lay there with my eyes closed for like forty minutes, but in the end I couldn’t sleep. so I was like, “okay if it’s gonna be like this, i’ll just start a livestream! okay”

I’ve been meaning to share here that I bought land! Growing up I vividly remember going to the welfare office with my mom. Public school, free lunches & section 8 housing made life possible. I wanted more for myself so I studied, worked my ass off, and put myself in the way of getting lucky. I pivoted into tech in my late 20’s, and was already a mom of 2 at that point. It was not an immediate up and to the right journey. In fact, my first startup failed. And it was entirely bootstrapped so I lost all the money I’d put into it. After working at other companies for some years I was ready to try again but then I nearly failed at fundraising. It was humbling to hear no after no but I just kept learning and adapting. I have always played long games and I’m willing to take a lot of pain in the short-term to realize big goals. People who know my full life story say it’s so hard to believe that I am in this position today, but it’s not by accident. I built this life brick by brick. Odds were stacked against me but I found joy in the challenge of doing hard things. Much of my success is from being pushed down and told I couldn’t make it. I love proving people wrong. Back to the land. I started dreaming of this project over a decade ago, back when I had no money to do it. But I talked about it to friends constantly like it was inevitable - because even though I didn’t know *how* it would happen, I began believing it would. Here we are and now it’s a key piece of what I want to accomplish in my next act. I want to create a place that people come to for reflection, to unwind from the grind, and to build meaningful connection to self and others. I want to host salons to discuss and debate interesting topics with the smartest people I can find. Breakthroughs will happen round a fire, while lounging poolside, and while gazing up at the stars through the trees. It took a year of searching for land but we found a spot just 1 hour north of San Francisco. It’s got some beautiful bones and infrastructure on it already but there’s a lot to imagine and build to realize the dream. Everything big starts small. So, we put up our first tree swings, hammocks and a canvas tent. 🏕️ If you’re into that kind of journey then I’ll be posting more about it on IG and may create an account just for that work. I’ve never owned land so 10 acres is an amazing canvas to create and learn on. There will be mistakes and setbacks, There always are. But I can’t wait to see what gets accomplished in the next decade! (And no, I am not quitting my job at Meta - this project is my side gig for the foreseeable future. I’m lucky to have the best guy I know focused on it full-time.) As the corporate truism goes - team work makes the dream work. LFG! 💕

Meet Syed Shah Khawar Ali, a 27-year-old 'serial entrepreneur' from Ambala, Haryana with a unique 'business model'. He has trapped over 50 girls across the country - from states like Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Kerala - via matrimonial websites where he pretends to be an SC advocate with a business in Singapore. He would land up in the city where the target girl lives on some pretext and then spin a web with his smooth talking. After raping and looting a victim, he would lie low for a few months before becoming active on matrimonial sites again and hunting for his next victim. He has cases against him in several states, and was even arrested once in Delhi. But due to the Gandhian 'every sinner has a future' outlook embedded deep into the body politic of our secular state, or maybe just due to apathy/corruption of our criminal justice system, he was let free without any credible monitoring system to ensure he doesn't repeat his crimes. You will not see this case being highlighted on front pages in English-language 'national' media, like the way the recent death of two cow smugglers, or the death in a Jharkhand lockup of a thief were covered. And if Syed Shah is somehow given the capital punishment he deserves for violating and scarring dozens of girls, his case will be expedited in the Supreme Court and lawyers like Sibal, Dhawan will line up to represent him. We will hear how Syed was just like any other young man growing up, how he idolized xyz cricketer, his favorite food, and about the dreams he had.... Truth be said, Syed Shah's 'business model' is not entirely unique. In 2017, Muhammad Shafi from Kerala was arrested for posing as a Hindu NRI doctor on matrimonial sites and sexually assaulting over 30 Hindu women, mostly nurses and nursing students. When asked why he targeted only Hindu girls, Shafi said he can’t trick girls of his own community. “A devout Muslim, he thinks it is a sin to molest a Muslim girl,” reveled an investigator, adding that he never felt any remorse as the victims were Hindus. Ideally, media should be digging deep into the minds and upbringing of people like Syed Shah Khawar Ali and Muhammad Shafi to understand what makes them commit such crimes without a trace of remorse, what part religious indoctrination and their religious affiliations play, what sort of attitudes prevail in the communities where these criminal grow....but then that would go against the hallowed principles of 'secularism', so all we will witness is a few terse reports at best, followed by complete silence. Meanwhile, more and more Muslim youth are being radicalized and emboldened each day to adopt this same model....and Hindu girls are being conditioned to make them ever more easy prey for such predators. For those who think Trump shouldn’t be POTUS in 2024 because he didn’t fully “drain the swamp” in his first term, allow me to offer some perspective. Do you remember what it was like in 2017? Do you remember how many people were still completely brainwashed by the TV? If Trump arrested Deep State actors as soon as he showed up, it would have been chaos, civil war, mass civilian casualties, legitimate threat to NATSEC, breakdown of society, etc. At the time, a small percentage of the population even knew about the Deep State, let alone believed it was a real thing. Trump and his supporters were mocked relentlessly back then for talking about the Deep State, and now it’s widely recognized as a reality. A large percentage of Americans believed the MSM at the time that Trump conspired with Russia. On top of that, Trump was hamstrung by the Mueller investigation. If Trump went scorched-earth on the Deep State during this time, it would not have worked. The Leftists were already emboldened to riot due to the BLM insanity. It would have been ugly. We were on pace to handle it in Trump’s 2nd term, and then they released C19 on the world, the bio-medical police state was implemented, mail-in ballots were sent out en masse, the steal happened, and everything changed. However, Biden’s disastrous term pretty much confirmed Trump was right about everything, and the American People got a quick 4 year dose of full-blown Orwellian totalitarian dystopia. This caused a significant portion of the People to wake up to the realities about corruption and degeneration of society that Trump was talking about. The Left, the media, the corporations, all of the elements of the Deep State went completely batshit crazy, exposing themselves to the People. Now add the optics of Biden weaponizing the DOJ to go after Trump over nothing, and all the sudden, if Trump went after the Deep State in his 2nd term, the public would not only understand it, they agree with him. Then add additional layers, like that Biden admin and their Deep State affiliates are 100% responsible for the war in Ukraine, as they are trying to defend their illegal offshore proxy they created via CIA color revolution in 2014. Funding and arming nazi military forces and dragging the US/NATO into WW3 with nuclear superpower Russia and China waiting patiently in the shadows. Why will Trump drain the swamp during his next term? Because the People get it now. They see what he was talking about. They had a front row seat to witness it for the last 7+ years. Trump now has the political ammunition and the global support to do what is necessary and rid the world of the Deep State. And equally as important, the Deep State have lost control of the narrative because of the parabolic takeover of citizen journalism thanks to Elon’s introduction of free speech on Twitter. Trump didn’t have all this going for him his first time around. Now much more of the world is awake, and more of them will continue to wake as WW3 and nuclear destruction looms over us all. Trump said it himself. “We are in a position to do that now because Pandora’s Box has been opened. People will say ‘now we get it’”. The Left are right; if Trump wins 2024, it WILL be a “Retribution Presidency”.

Raquel Welch on the terrible experience she had while filming 'One Million Years B.C' (1966) & the "Political agenda" of the feminists towards sex symbols like her: "Since the ’60s, sexy girls always seem to end up in sci-fi features; and they’re still doing it. Look at Jessica Alba and Megan Fox. Since I was still unproven at the time, I was hoping that Fox would groom me for more challenging roles. But as fate would have it, the studio had a completely different plan for me. My first starring role was to be in a dinosaur epic called 'One Million Years B.C' (1966). Fox’s studio head, Dick Zanuck, called to tell me that I would be playing the part of Loana in this remake of the 1940 caveman classic. Although I thanked him for my “big break,” all I could think was, A dinosaur movie? You've got to be kidding me! I figured my performance would disappear without a trace. (...) When that famous photo [poster of the movie] was snapped on location, my little ones were miles away, playing by the hotel pool with their nanny at the bottom of a mountain, while Mom was atop a smoking volcano . . . and it was snowing! In fact, it was soooo cold that the entire crew was bundled up in nice cozy parkas. Even the cameras froze. So they hung pots of hot coals underneath the camera boxes, to keep the motors warm. But nobody seemed to care about my motor. Why didn’t I have a parka? “Cave girls don’t have parkas,” I was told. Not surprisingly, I came down with a severe case of tonsillitis. It was so not how I had pictured it. On the first day of shooting, I went straight up to the director, Don Chaffey, and said quite seriously, “Listen Don, I’ve been studying the script, and I was thinking .. .” He turned to me in amazement and said, “You were thinking? Don’t.” Then he said, “You see that rock over there?” I was all ears. “That’s Rock A. When I call action, you start running all the way over to Rock B, which is over there. When you get about midway between the two, pretend you see a giant turtle coming over that hill. You scream... and we break for lunch. Got it?” I got it all right. He was just the first in a long line of producers and directors who didn’t give a rat's ass what I thought. For years I felt like the Rodney Dangerfield of sex symbols. I got no respect. I'm glad those days are over. But I was wrong about the dinosaur movie; it wasn't a leap into obscurity. By the time we wrapped and I boarded a flight for London, unbeknownst to me, my life was already changing. When I stepped off the plane in Heathrow Airport, I was greeted by a swarm of press and paparazzi. What was the deal? No one could be more surprised by this than I was! Suddenly, I had become famous! I had to pinch myself. Was it really happening? It was a once- in-a-lifetime break for me and my kids. So Mommy became the reigning sex symbol of the swingin’ ’60s and ’70s, at the height of the sexual revolution—with one hitch." A sex symbol in the Age of Flower Children didn’t sit very well with the hardline feminists of the time. They dismissed me as nothing more than a sex object. They didn’t look beyond the poster image to see what I was made of. It felt like a slap, until I realized that official feminism had a political agenda that is not inclusive of all women. It’s only for those who fit a criterion, which does not include a bikini. So be it."" ('Raquel-Beyond the Cleavage', 2010)

He sold his soul to Big Pharma and they fired him anyways. 🤦‍♂️ Vinay Prasad Vinay Prasad MD MPH is one of the many reasons MAHA is in deep trouble...and he really is a cautionary tale. He was wrong about Ivermectin for COVID-19 and he was even more wrong about Ivermectin, Mebendazole and Fenbendazole in Cancer. But he was "Big Pharma" and "TV" friendly, so MAHA backed his hiring into the FDA, where he took on several important roles. This is what happens when you replace a real movement, with actors. The strategy of trying to meet Big Pharma halfway on corruption and fraud, by hiring people who are only "mildly corrupted" and still love Big Pharma, is a poor one, because it's very transparent. Vinay's arguments about repurposed drugs are so painfully idiotic, that I can't fathom how he can hold on to his medical license as an Oncologist, let alone be shoved in front of millions of Americans at the FDA. "It's not plausible anti-parasitics work for cancer" except Johns Hopkins was granted a PATENT on Mebendazole for use in Glioblastoma, one of the most aggressive cancers and ran two Clinical Trials including in CHILDREN. If it's "not plausible" and "we looked in the 1970s and didn't see anything", why would one of America's largest Cancer Centers spend 5 years getting a PATENT on it as well as two Clinical Trials AND put children with Brain Cancer at risk? Is Vinay really trying to tell us Johns Hopkins applied for grant funding and committed its resources to study "fringe" things that are "not plausible"? Meanwhile: - Fenbendazole Cancer Support Group on Facebook grew to over 100,000 before it was taken down - In late 2025, Florida Governor Ron Desantis committed over $60 million for Ivermectin in Cancer research via the Florida Cancer Innovation Fund - In early 2026, National Cancer Institute committed to studying Ivermectin in Cancer. Not bad for something that's "not plausible". And for all that, Vinay Prasad got kicked out of the FDA anyways. Vinay is not a stupid man, but he made a choice. "I have to bash Ivermectin" to position himself as a "moderate" and "Big Pharma friendly", and by doing so, he tore up his Hippocratic Oath (to further his career). Let's be honest, many doctors did the same during COVID-19 with the jabs. But they are pariahs on the fringe of society today. They are publicly ridiculed, mocked and no one trusts them anymore. Your average doctor has lower favorability rating than chlamydia and it's well earned. Many of these MAHA actors deserve the same fate. They sold out too. They just did it with a different flavor. The flavor of "Health Freedom".
