Many Poles argue that life in the UK has become increasingly difficult due to high living costs, uncontrolled non-European immigration and violent crime in the streets. The number of Poles in the UK peaked at around 1 million in 2017 and has since fallen to 600 thousand. Poles are returning to Poland not only from the UK but also from other European countries. Since 2024, more Poles are leaving Germany for Poland than the other way around. The same now applies for the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden and Ireland too.

BREAKING: The Florida student who went viral for beating his teacher unconscious has been sentenced to five years in state prison. Brendan Depa, a 6 feet, 6-inch, 270-pound teen, beat his teacher Joan Naydich for taking his Nintendo. Depa's mother is blaming the "system" for failing him. "He's not a thug that was just out there and didn't have parents who cared. It was the system that failed him, that he was placed in public school, and that once he was in there, the IEP was not followed," Leanne Depa said. "People who should have known better than to use his Nintendo Switch, which was his trigger, as a motivator." Depa was sentenced to five years in prison followed by 15 years on probation.
