@Samritha22 Looks great! 🚀 Awesome work! nit: maybe remove the animation transition while user is dragging the sheet so that the dragging feels more responsive, otherwise it feels like the sheet is trying to "catch up" to the finger and lagging.

I failed to make a web app on both Replit & Lovable (and I code). I still think every PM should try this at least once. Bottom line: • I didn't need to "code," but at some point I was definitely doing engineering. • Building a complex web application takes babysitting • These tools are amazing for expressing ideas and visualizing data • PMs, try this out! It builds intuition for being on the other side of an agent (and now you don't have to be afraid of failing) My background: I can build web apps (though I became a PM because I was pretty bad at it) What I wanted to build: I wanted to replicate Graphtreon (unofficial patreon scraper and public revenue dashboard), but for Maven (where my course is hosted). How it went for me: 🟢 ChatGPT/Claude helped me iterate to a great prompt (literally, "help me write a prompt for an AI LLM prototyping tool to build a web app that...") 🟢 I pasted that into both Lovable and Replit (why not open two tabs) 🟢 Iterating on the UI was awesome. If I kept feedback high-level, it would think of all the little flow details on its own (confirmation dialogs, errors) 🟡 It had backend powers, but needed *a lot* of obvious help on setting up simple backend web scraping (not nobel prize type work) 🟡 I tried to "empower" it with higher-level goals, but kept getting dragged back down to troubleshooting 🔴 I found myself babysitting every error, and building features solely for the purpose of observability and debugging 🔴 I was having fun, but for the wrong reasons (breaking through frustrating walls rather than for outcomes, insights, or innovation) That said, my friend succeeded. A former PM colleague (now founder) successfully built a web app using Lovable, and reported the same experience. He succeeded because he was way more persistent (spent many days fully focused on this) and also smarter. These tools are in a weird, adolescent neither-here-nor-there stage. That said, I'm still super impressed, and can't believe this even exists. Most importantly for product managers: I recommend trying this hands-on ✓ Timebox yourself to an hour ✓ What's a piece of software you didn't get approval to buy? ✓ Allow yourself to get in the weeds, if only as an exercise ✓ Build intuition for what it's like to be on the other side of an agent doing something really complex. Now you don't have to feel bad if you fail :)

ANOTHER DAY MINNEAPOLIS HOLDS POLITICAL HOSTAGES!!!!!! Yesterday Jacob Frey, the Minneapolis police department and numerous media outlets, all conspiring to brainwash and force a certain narrative, put out LIES about Jake and his security BLAMING THEM FOR THEIR RABID VIOLENT RESIDENTS causing chaos and destruction. FIRST OF ALL, Jacob Frey said them driving up onto the sidewalk was to insight violence.. WELL actually, Jakes security spoke with the police before the rally to discuss where they could go and gave them their exact plan. THE POLICE NEVER SAID IT WAS AN ISSUE. They also went to city hall beforehand and spoke with their security to plan where Jake and their vehicles could pull up to!!!! WHY DO YOU THINK THE BARRICADES WERE ALREADY SET UP THERE? NEXT, if you watch the video footage I have attached you will see Jake and his security simply pulled up in the trucks in their designated area, while the people who were waiting for them across the street began giving orders for violence OVER A MICROPHONE and they all rushed over to him and start attacking him. They swarmed the truck, climbed inside, brutally assaulted everyone in there, threw objects at them, slashed their tires, held knives up at them, and we’re trying to jab them in the skull with the bottom of a stop sign. These violent animals were trying to kill Jake and his Security, and left them shielding themselves in the back of their truck. THE POLICE THEN STOOD IN FRONT OF THE TRUCK AS THE TRUCK MOVED AT A SNAILS PACE, and the police created a barricade, so the truck was able to get out of there and they could flee for their lives. SO NO, There was never a time a truck drove through people or into people. THE POLICE REMAINED IN FRONT OF THE TRUCK, GUARDING THEM OUT UNTIL THEY WERE ABLE TO HAVE A CLEAR PATH TO LEAVE. There was also no one on the sidewalk when the trucks arrived and I have attached that picture also on this post. Jake was unable to even speak any words before they began attacking him!! Also, in the video you hear a man by the name of Andrew Mercado, continuously, screaming that this is what happens if Jake comes to his city… and threatening to kill the man standing next to Jake in the truck. That is premeditated attacks and threats against somebody they do not like because of words. It is clear as day these people came there to insight a riot and even using their own words, wanted to kill them! Now Jacob Frey, the Minneapolis Police Department and the local news work together trying to cover up what truly happened yesterday. Unfortunately, for them, it is all on video and they will be exposed for taking in political prisoners for their own disgusting satisfaction and into appears the violent thugs that control their city. Please help Jake and his Security as we fight this battle.

WELL actually, Jakes security spoke with the police before the rally to discuss where they could go and gave them their exact plan. THE POLICE NEVER SAID IT WAS AN ISSUE. They also went to city hall beforehand and spoke with their security to plan where Jake and their vehicles could pull up to!!!! WHY DO YOU THINK THE BARRICADES WERE ALREADY SET UP THERE? NEXT, if you watch the video footage I have attached you will see Jake and his security simply pulled up in the trucks in their designated area, while the people who were waiting for them across the street began giving orders for violence OVER A MICROPHONE and they all rushed over to him and start attacking him. They swarmed the truck, climbed inside, brutally assaulted everyone in there, threw objects at them, slashed their tires, held knives up at them, and we’re trying to jab them in the skull with the bottom of a stop sign. These violent animals were trying to kill Jake and his Security, and left them shielding themselves in the back of their truck. THE POLICE THEN STOOD IN FRONT OF THE TRUCK AS THE TRUCK MOVED AT A SNAILS PACE, and the police created a barricade, so the truck was able to get out of there and they could flee for their lives. SO NO, There was never a time a truck drove through people or into people. THE POLICE REMAINED IN FRONT OF THE TRUCK, GUARDING THEM OUT UNTIL THEY WERE ABLE TO HAVE A CLEAR PATH TO LEAVE. There was also no one on the sidewalk when the trucks arrived and I have attached that picture also on this post. Jake was unable to even speak any words before they began attacking him!! Also, in the video you hear a man by the name of Andrew Mercado, continuously, screaming that this is what happens if Jake comes to his city… and threatening to kill the man standing next to Jake in the truck. That is premeditated attacks and threats against somebody they do not like because of words. It is clear as day these people came there to insight a riot and even using their own words, wanted to kill them! Now Jacob Frey, the Minneapolis Police Department and the local news work together trying to cover up what truly happened yesterday. Unfortunately, for them, it is all on video and they will be exposed for taking in political prisoners for their own disgusting satisfaction and into appears the violent thugs that control their city. I've been building a music player with Next.js for fun. Here's a quick demo of how it works (it's open source!) • Demo: • Code: If you want to learn more about how it's built, here's more details ↓ I'm using Postgres (with Drizzle) to store information about the songs and playlists. Audio and image files are stored in Vercel Blob (object storage), and the URLs are then referenced in the database. For the UI, I'm using shadcn/ui (so Tailwind CSS and Radix). This made it easy to copy/paste in some nice components, like the dropdown menus. I built the entire first version of the UI in v0 and then iterated from there, feeding it my Drizzle schema as a source in the project and having it scaffold some of the boilerplate for me: I added support for keyboard navigation (using arrow keys) or vim motions (j/k to go up/down, and h/l to go between playlists and tracks). Also, space to toggle the now playing song, and / to focus the search input. The search function has a nice utility to highlight the currently searched text on the page in yellow. Then, I was exploring how to pass metadata from my application to macOS or iOS. Turns out there's an API for that – MediaSession. Web apps can share metadata about what media is playing (title, artist, album artwork) and sync play/pause/seek with system media controls. Works across modern browsers — even integrates with iOS dynamic island and shows up on lock screens: I set up my app like a PWA – it has a manifest.json file, so it can be installed to my iOS home screen or added to my dock on macOS. On iOS, it then uses the full screen height `100dvh` (dynamic viewport) and has padding on the bottom for the safe area with the `env()` CSS function. Finally, I was able to use the Vercel AI SDK in a script to clean up the metadata on audio files I downloaded from YouTube. Bonus: I even was able to dogfood the React Compiler, which helped me fix a performance bug! That's all! It's fun to make personal software:
