Why Democracy Cannot Develop Africa Democracy has been sold to Africa as the only path to development, but the evidence tells a different story. The same Western powers preaching democracy today did not build their own countries through real democracy. And the version they export to Africa often serves foreign interests more than African people. In this report, The Spearhead’s Mckay Chukwu asks a simple question: who really benefits from Africa’s costly elections, Western-funded democracy projects, and leadership choices shaped by outside influence? When politics is controlled by money, foreign interests, and periodic elections that change little, the result is predictable. Until Africa defines governance for itself, the same cycle will continue.

This should frighten everyone, but it really should make you WAKE UP. I’ve heard this same sort of playing with the first of amendment over the last couple months… The word democracy is in Greek roots meaning “rule by the people” so a government for the people by the people. These people r telling us in plain sight… They want to control the narrative and if it dosent fit into theirs…That pesky thing..the first amendment is a “privilege” Freedom of speech is the cornerstone of a democracy. How are people in the same voices calling for democracy..seemingly pushing for making the cornerstone of democracy a “privilege”
