Whitney Webb breaks down the coordinated global push for a new, dystopian system of control, marrying digital ID with CBDCs. This isn't conspiracy; it's all in their own documentation. They are building a full-spectrum digital cage, and its two locked doors are Digital Identity and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). You cannot have one without the other. The plan is to replace your government-issued ID with a Digital ID, but it's not just a card in your phone. It is fundamentally built upon your immutable biometrics: your fingerprints, the precise structure of your face, the unique pattern of your iris. This biometric data is the key. It is the hard link that ties your physical body directly to your digital identity credential. Your very body becomes your password. The reason this is so critical for them is the financial system. UN & Bank for International Settlements docs overtly state that Digital ID and CBDCs are designed to be integrated. The system cannot exist without this biometric digital ID. Why? Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols. For this new digital financial system to function, they must absolutely "know" every single participant. Your digital wallet will be tied to your digital ID, which is mapped to your biometrics. Total financial-biological linkage. We see the prototypes being rolled out now: • Sam Altman's WorldCoin lures people to scan their irises for a "unique identifier" and a digital wallet. This is the exact model. • The UN's "Building Blocks" program forces refugees to scan their iris at checkout to receive food rations. The value is deducted from a wallet tied to that biometric ID. They justify this total surveillance under the guise of closing the "identity gap," claiming the world's poor need digital IDs to access essential services like banking and healthcare. The reality? This is the ultimate onboarding mechanism into a system of programmable control, where your access to society and your own money is permissioned and revocable based on your compliance. This is the bedrock of the new global financial system. It is not about convenience. It is about control. Your body is the new currency, and they are forcing you to hand over the keys.

The Digital ID Will Change the Lives of Every Australian - For the Worse ... As much as the Government attempts to downplay the importance of introducing a single central digital identifier for all Australians, the truth is that this legislation is the most significant I've encountered during my time in the Senate. It's the glue that holds together the digital control agenda by which every Australian will be controlled, corralled, exploited and then gagged when they speak or act in opposition. The government knows Digital ID will be compulsory by the device of preventing access to government services, banking services, air travel and major purchases for any Australian who does not have a Digital ID. The Digital ID will, in effect, create a live data file of your movements, purchases, accounts and associates containing reference to every piece of data being held in the private and government sector as a first step in a wider agenda. Tech giants have been building huge data files on every Australian for years. Those huge data files that contain every website you visited, every post you made on their social media, everything you have ever bought online. Keywords scanned from conversations overheard by Siri and Alexa in your home are now unmasked. Until now, that data was anonymised using a unique identifier rather than name and address, which has always been there as well. However, tech companies were not allowed to use it or share data with others that included the person's name and address. Until Now. Look for the tech giants to ask for your Digital ID as a requirement of using their service. The point of that exercise is to ensure they put the right name on the right data treasure trove. This is why the Liberal Party have moved amendments to the Digital ID Bill to bring private corporations into this roll out earlier. All those treasure troves of data worth billions, trillions, that have been accumulated for years illegally, by retailers, tech and data companies - all that unrealised profit just sitting there has been too much of a temptation for the Liberal Nationals to resist and is now joined with Labor in pushing Digital ID. There will be no escape from the digital ID. Australians now have a digital version of "papers please" and Australians will never be the same.

Ireland to be the testing ground in Europe for Chinese-style mandatory Digital ID to access social media. Tánaiste Simon Harris trying to push the narrative that the government's plan to link Digital ID to social media access is necessary to protect the welfare of children. Any thinking person knows the reality is that this is about absolute control and surveillance of every aspect of your life. By connecting social media to Digital ID means that every web page access could be traced back to a specific holder of a Public Services Card in Ireland. This is the start of a digital prison. The EU is in the process of implementing a European Central Bank digital euro. If we go along with this we will be transposed into a CBDC Digital ID cashless society whereby your every financial transaction will be controlled, monitored, traced and tracked. The plan by the Irish government to link Digital ID to access social media is already underway. Social media platforms in Ireland have been contacted by the government to take part in a pilot to be rolled out in March and the government have already announced they intend to put in place legislation later this year to get their dystopian plans over the line. We must RESIST this sinister plan to get mandatory Digital ID through the back door. What is to stop successive governments from implementing a social credit system if you say something online that is against the narrative of the establishment?. Your social welfare benefits and right to work could be restricted by this massive government overreach, if you step out of line. If we do not RESIST this with all our might we face the end of humanity as we know it. A digital prison surveillance planet whereby the global corporations, governments and Bankers have complete control over every aspect of our lives. It is up to us to push back against these draconian plans with all our might. We defeated the government's Referendum. We staved off the controversial Hate Speech 'thought police' Bill. We secured the highest ever spoilt votes in Irish history and, indeed, in Europe. We CAN defeat this attack on our fundamental rights and freedoms IF we join as a cohesive force against the government's plans for a Chinese-style dystopian surveillance society. We owe it to future generations to push back with all our might. #NoDigitalID

Yesterday, I spoke in the Westminster Hall debate on #DigitalID and I made my position clear: we must protect freedom, privacy, and public trust. Digital ID fails on all three. I strongly oppose this Labour Government’s planned mandatory digital identification scheme. In my view, it is a distraction from recent scandals and from the Labour Government’s continued failure to properly address illegal immigration. A digital ID card cuts across our English Common Law rights, the very foundations of our freedoms. And let’s be clear: a mandatory digital ID will not stop Channel crossings only a proper and effective deterrent will. Linking migration policy to digital ID also risks fuelling conspiracy theories, deepening public distrust, and distracting from real enforcement. France and Italy already have similar systems yet both still face major migration challenges. Successive governments have rejected ID cards for good reason. Keir Starmer made no mention of digital ID in his manifesto before the General Election, avoiding full public scrutiny of what is an intrusive and far-reaching proposal. A government-issued mandatory digital identity is not necessary for delivering online public services, verifying benefits or employment, or confirming immigration status. Government already holds this information, with existing safeguards in place. Introducing a compulsory digital ID would bring major security risks, a shift of power away from individuals, and huge costs to the taxpayer all for no clear benefit.
