UK 'stands ready' to help 'de-escalate' the conflict between India and Pakistan. Jonathan Reynolds says that it is 'always worrying' when this kind of conflict flares up, but that the UK will help 'in any way it can' to calm it down.

Isn't this the chap who lied about being a solicitor? Any news of his prosecution yet? Sections 20 and/or 21 of the Solicitors Act 1974 I believe.

How long will it be before Pakis and Indians in the UK turn on each other and turn British streets into a warzone?

The UK’s offer to mediate is a step in the right direction de escalation is critical in a region with such a volatile history. Kashmir has been a flashpoint since 1947, and with both nations nuclear-armed, diplomacy must take precedence. Reynolds’ call for calm is prudent, but can the UK leverage its ties to push for a lasting dialogue? #IndiaPakistan #Kashmir

how long before we find out UK is selling arms to both sides ?

Can U.K. just mind its own business. We are not the worlds police

Interestingly, the conflict that has escalated between the two countries had it's seed planted with the British empire when it used divide and conquer to rule the larger "British India" which later disintegrated to the two nations and they have always lived side by side but as enemies.

Following the trade agreement with India & of course the historic and enduring ties between the UK & Pakistan, this is an area where the UK can take a global lead in promoting stability & showcasing its ‘soft power’ skills. I welcome our input & perspective vis-a-vis South Asia.

yes as if the British fuckups with borders and religions is not enough

You just shut up and mind ur own business!

We have enough domestic worries.
