@SecDef Ukraine needs to be able to defend itself as it sees fit. What sort of rule is it that does not allow an invaded country to fight back the invader in its own country. Ridiculous. Thank God this admin was not in power during WWII. Timidity is shameful.

In the coming days, Ukraine and the European Commission will formally begin the screening process to assess the correspondence of Ukrainian legislation with EU legislation. We are also preparing for the work on Ukraine’s negotiation framework, which we expect to be adopted in the spring. The negotiation process will not be easy, but the important thing is that we already have historical certainty: Ukraine will always be part of our common European home. I am grateful to everyone who joined forces with us and helps bring the required European decisions closer: all politicians, civil society leaders, and people in different countries who have equal faith in Ukraine and in Europe.

In an effort to stop this, I requested a rare procedural maneuver that will force a second vote on Monday. Hopefully we can change minds. I will be writing all 435 members over the weekend. Please help me. Talk to your reps. We have one last shot at this.
