Two wounded Russian soldiers who surrendered to Ukrainian forces were killed by Russian drone strikes while being evacuated to the rear. Ukrainian Defender Vladyslav Polskyi, commander of the 1st Assault Company, 1st Assault Battalion, saved his wounded brothers-in-arms. According to "Flint," commander of the 475th Separate Assault Regiment (CODE 9.2), they were monitoring an unmanned ground vehicle evacuating two wounded Defenders when a Russian FPV drone approached and attacked them again. Watching the situation unfold, Vladyslav rushed to save his brothers-in-arms without waiting for orders. He ran out of the command post and jumped into an unarmored vehicle, and everyone "could already see him on the Mavic screen driving to rescue the guys." Both Warriors sustained open leg fractures. If Vladyslav had not arrived, they would have died within 10 to 15 minutes, as a second drone would have targeted and killed both of the wounded.
