The Gideon Rose interview begins with a lie. The 2014 protest in Kyiv was started by students who wanted Ukraine to join the EU. Yanukovych's goons beat them up. Vets stepped in to protect the youth & so it spread. Yanukovych fled like a rat with billions to Russia.
