❗️🇺🇦🇷🇺 Ukraine’s military intelligence is warning that Russia could regain the ability to open a major northern front against Kyiv and Chernihiv regions by early 2027, but only if Moscow launches another large-scale mobilization and succeeds in building a new strike force. According to HUR Deputy Chief Vadym Skibitsky,...

‼️‼️ 🇷🇺🇺🇦🇪🇺 Russia’s potential mobilization of 600,000 additional troops in 2026–2027 could have implications far beyond replenishing its forces on the existing Ukrainian front. It would give Moscow significantly greater manpower for creating new formations, including forces potentially intended for a renewed northern axis against Ukraine, while simultaneously strengthening Russia’s military posture toward NATO’s eastern flank. According to Ukrainian intelligence, Moscow is preparing for the possibility of mobilizing roughly 300,000 personnel in 2026 and another 300,000 in 2027, potentially after the State Duma elections. In the broader strategic picture, such a manpower increase would give the Kremlin greater flexibility to reinforce existing operations while building reserves for other directions. A renewed threat from the north, including through Belarus, would force Ukraine to keep substantial forces away from the main eastern front. At the same time, Russia’s continuing military buildup is being watched closely in Poland and the Baltic states amid Western intelligence concerns that Moscow could eventually attempt to test NATO’s defenses through some form of limited aggression. This does not mean that either a new northern offensive against Ukraine or a Russian attack on NATO is inevitable. But 600,000 additional personnel would substantially expand the range of options available to Moscow. In the worst-case scenario for Europe, Russia could seek to maintain pressure on Ukraine while rebuilding enough military capacity to threaten NATO’s eastern frontier in parallel. That is precisely why the Kremlin’s manpower generation should be viewed not only through the prism of today’s battlefield, but also through the longer-term security of Belarus-facing Ukraine, Poland and the Baltic region. 🇺🇦🇷🇺🇰🇵 Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russia is preparing for a major escalation of the war, including a new wave of mobilization and deeper military cooperation with North Korea. According to Zelensky, Ukrainian intelligence has obtained comprehensive information on Moscow's plans for the autumn. He stated that Vladimir Putin is laying the groundwork for an expanded mobilization, preparing to send more Russians into the war while masking the effort through different rhetoric and political messaging. Zelensky also claimed that Russia intends to receive an additional 30,000 North Korean troops, with preparations reportedly underway in Russia's Voronezh region to accommodate their arrival. In addition, he said North Korea is preparing to supply Russia with new ballistic missile launch systems, while Moscow continues to help Pyongyang improve its military capabilities by providing battlefield experience, weapons development, and operational expertise. Zelensky concluded by saying that Ukraine is aware of these plans and will continue to resist them. If these assessments prove accurate, they would signal a significant deepening of the Russia-North Korea military partnership. Beyond reinforcing Russia's manpower, the cooperation could accelerate North Korea's military modernization by exposing its forces and weapons to real combat conditions, creating long-term security implications that extend far beyond the war in Ukraine. ❗️❗️🇺🇦⚔️🇷🇺 “Losing Donbas would trigger a new attempt to force Ukraine into capitulation, and only Biletsky can save the situation,” warns prominent Ukrainian military journalist and editor-in-chief Yurii Butusov, calling for an urgent restructuring of command on one of the most critical sectors of the eastern front. Butusov is urging Ukraine’s military leadership to place the formations defending Sloviansk and Kostiantynivka under the command of 3rd Army Corps commander Andrii Biletsky. Russian forces are intensifying attacks around the Chobotok forest and several fortified heights on the Sloviansk axis, and Butusov warns that a withdrawal could open the path toward Sloviansk, Kramatorsk and eventually the remaining Ukrainian-held Donbas. He points to the Lyman sector, where Biletsky’s forces have prevented further Russian advances, arguing that the 3rd Corps has the reserves, commanders and combat experience needed to stabilize the wider front. The stakes extend far beyond individual cities. If Russia succeeds in breaking Ukraine’s defensive system around the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk-Kostiantynivka belt, Moscow would gain not only a major battlefield victory but also powerful political leverage over Kyiv. Butusov’s warning reflects the growing importance of competent command and rapidly shifting reserves: Ukraine does not simply need to hold territory, it must prevent Russia from creating the kind of operational breakthrough that could later be transformed into Western pressure for territorial concessions. 🔥🇺🇦🎯🇷🇺 Ukraine’s long-range strike campaign is reaching ever deeper into Russia, with President Volodymyr Zelensky confirming another series of attacks against Russian energy, logistics and military infrastructure. According to Zelensky, Ukrainian forces struck the Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery in Samara region, roughly 1,000 km from the frontline, as well as an Ozon logistics hub in the region. Reuters confirms that Ukraine reported hitting the refinery and causing a fire, while Ozon halted operations at its Chapayevsk logistics center following the attack. Zelensky also announced operations in the Black Sea and confirmed the results of earlier strikes: a Su-24M-type frontline bomber and four pieces of airfield equipment were destroyed at Saky airbase, while drone-control relay equipment used by Russian forces was destroyed in Bryansk region. The pattern is becoming increasingly clear: Ukraine is systematically expanding the depth and frequency of its strikes to hit the infrastructure that generates revenue, supports logistics and enables Russian military operations. Refineries hundreds of kilometers inside Russia, logistics hubs, airbases and battlefield communications are increasingly being treated as interconnected parts of the same war machine. Kyiv’s objective is not merely individual destruction, but the cumulative degradation of Russia’s ability to finance, supply and sustain its offensive. See the latest updates with us: Visioner
