🇺🇦⚔️ 🇷🇺 Ukrainian Defense Forces have achieved tactical progress on the Zaporizhzhia front, advancing southeast of the settlement of Stepnohirsk. Ukrainian assault units successfully pushed back occupying Russian forces, clearing fortified enemy positions and securing strategic terrain in the sector despite persistent hostile artillery fire and drone activity. This successful push highlights the operational initiative and unwavering determination of Ukraine's defenders as they continue to stabilize the southern frontline and neutralize Russian offensive threats toward Zaporizhzhia. Interestingly, as I discovered, during WWI, catapults and improvised slingshots were used to launch grenades into enemy trenches, a necessity in trench warfare. The Leach Trench Catapult was a key device used by the British. These manual, rubber-powered launchers could throw bombs 120–200 yards. They were used for trench raids, as they were silent compared to mortars.👀

🇨🇳 CHINA’S ROBODOGS FACEPLANT IN TAIWAN INVASION DRILL China’s robot dogs got their big combat debut in a beach assault simulation and immediately got shot. In a state-run exercise, the bots were sent ahead with explosives, supported by drones and combat troops to clear enemy defenses. It backfired. One robot was picked off on the beach, drones failed to suppress fire, and troops had to crawl under heavy fire to plant charges by hand. The drill ended with “heavy casualties” and a reminder: robot dogs might not save you. Source: South China Morning Post, Disclose.tv

❗️🇺🇦🇷🇺Ukraine has completely unhinged Russia’s regional defenses on the Lyman front, launching a crushing, two-pronged pincer movement that has smashed through enemy lines. Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) assault units executed a highly coordinated, high-tempo offensive, securing massive territorial gains both north and south of the strategic village of Ridkodub. By rapidly punching through these heavily contested sectors, Ukrainian forces have effectively bypassed Russian defensive fortifications, threatening to completely encircle remaining enemy pockets and fracturing the Kremlin's frontline cohesion in the east. This aggressive breakthrough proves that Ukraine retains total tactical initiative and can dismantle Russia’s flanks at will. By piercing the northern and southern axes simultaneously, the AFU is choking off vital enemy communication lines, leaving the occupying forces with a brutal ultimatum: retreat immediately or face total liquidation.

Today we remember World War II Medal of Honor recipient 1st Lt. Jimmie W. Monteith Jr. During the Omaha landings, Monteith rallied his men in the face of withering fire and led them in a daring assault across the open beach. He then personally guided tanks through minefields to reduce enemy strong points. Despite fierce counterattacks, he inspired his men to capture critical high ground and unhinge the enemy defenses. Monteith was killed in the fighting and received a posthumous Medal of Honor for his courage and leadership. He is buried at Normandy American Cemetery, plot I, row 20, grave 12.

Digitally restored, enhanced, and presented with sound design to recreate how these moments may have looked and sounded at the time.

🚨🇺🇦🇷🇺 Ukrainian forces are continuing to advance on the southern Donetsk front around Velyka Novosilka, with intense fighting now focused on Shevchenko. Despite Russian claims of maintaining control, geolocated Russian drone footage confirms Ukrainian troops are operating inside the settlement, while several battlefield maps appear to be lagging behind the situation on the ground. Ukrainian forces have been fighting toward Shevchenko since late July, initially encountering layered Russian defenses north of the village and repeated guided-bomb strikes. Around three weeks ago, Ukrainian forces shifted their approach and began advancing from the northwest through recently secured positions near Maliivka. The maneuver appears to have produced results, with Ukrainian units establishing a foothold in northwestern Shevchenko more than two weeks ago. Fighting continues along the eastern streets, while Ukrainian troops are also pushing south and east toward Vilne Pole, Vesele and Burlatske. Ukrainian reconnaissance west of Shevchenko and Russian accounts of infiltration attempts near Komar indicate that the contested area is continuing to expand. 🔥 Rather than a sudden six-kilometer breakthrough, the advance is the result of months of gradual and difficult fighting since Russia captured Shevchenko in June. The renewed momentum around Velyka Novosilka suggests Ukraine is steadily widening another counterattack axis and forcing Russian troops to defend an increasingly broad section of the southern Donetsk front. 💥Fighting for Bolshaya Rybica: our UAV operators continue to clear the populated area During the aerial reconnaissance of the territory of the Sumy region, the drone operators of the North Group of Troops detected and destroyed another enemy pickup truck in Bolshaya (Great) Rybica. The vehicle had previously been damaged, however, according to radio intercepts, it contained material resources necessary for Ukrainian nationalists. Our UAV operators adjusted the enemy's plans and burned the APU pickup truck along with all its supplies. It's important to note that Bolshaya Rybica has become another populated area in the responsibility zone of the North Group of Troops, which not long ago was considered the enemy's rear, and today is actually on the front line of the combat contact... 📹North Wind 🇷🇺

🇺🇦🇷🇺Ukrainian forces have executed a high-precision strike targeting a concentration of Russian occupying forces in the village of Hladkivka, located on the occupied left bank of the Kherson region. The targeted strike hit Russian personnel and equipment located roughly 20 kilometers behind the active frontline, resulting in severe enemy casualties with substantial numbers of dead and wounded reported. Local reports confirm powerful explosions at the impact site as Ukrainian artillery and long-range systems continue to methodically degrade Russian manpower, command posts, and logistics hubs deep within occupied territory. This deep precision attack highlights the Ukrainian military's superior intelligence gathering and long-range striking capability, demonstrating that Russian forces remain vulnerable to devastating hits anywhere within reach of Ukraine's defense assets on the southern front. Over the weekend, more than 140 Hezbollah sites in Lebanon were struck by the Israeli Air Force and by ground troops, the military says. The IDF says the targets included a Hezbollah training camp, weapon depots, rocket launching sites, and command centers of the elite Radwan Force. Earlier, the IDF announced bombing several command centers in Beirut. During ground operations in southern Lebanon, the IDF says, troops killed Hezbollah operatives in close-quarters combat and by directing strikes, as well as captured weapons and located Hezbollah infrastructure. One strike carried out by the 215th Artillery Regiment hit a Hezbollah command center used by the terror group to launch drones at troops and Israel, the IDF adds.

Friends, your support is urgently needed for the soldiers of the 116th Separate Mechanized Brigade, who are carrying out combat missions in the Kupiansk sector. Recently, the enemy has intensified its activity in this part of the front, though without achieving any significant breakthroughs. Still, we must respond in a timely manner to prevent more serious consequences. Most of the enemy’s assault operations are being repelled thanks to the coordinated and professional work of our drone operators.
