Clear video of the moment of shootdown of a Russian Shahed/Geran-type long-range strike drone by a Ukrainian interceptor drone over the Ukrainian city of Odesa. After approaching the city from seaside, the Russian UAV is initially hit by gunfire from the ground, and finished off by the interceptor a few seconds later. Geolocation below.

Russian fiber-optic FPV drone strikes the "Sumy Severnaya" 330kV electrical substation in northeastern Ukraine. Manuvering through the territory of the substation, Russian drone operator is able to reach and hit the main transformer. The transformer is seen covered by a hastily constructed sarcophagus, presumably for protection against Shahed/Geran-type long-range OWA-UAVs. It didn't help much against a more maneuverable FPV drone that reached the target from an underside.

The footage was recorded deep inside occupied territory by UAV operators from the reconnaissance platoon of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hero of Ukraine Valerii Hudz. The video reflects how far Ukrainian reconnaissance activity can extend beyond the front line, reaching areas Russia considers secure. Ukrainian defenders say such operations are a reminder that occupied territories remain under surveillance and that distance from the front line does not guarantee security for Russian forces. 📹General Staff

The targeted plane was destroyed on the ground as a result of the attack. In the opening part of the video, the Russians also attached a clip of a Ukrainian MiG-29 being tracked in the air by a Russian UAV, indicating that it was the same airframe that was struck at Vasylkiv.
