Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) direction: mounting pressure and signs of possible encirclement Russian forces continue their intensified offensive on the Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) axis, using tactics of localized breakthroughs and combined attacks to create conditions for surrounding and breaching Kiev forces’ defenses. Russian units are steadily ramping up pressure on key positions, leveraging superior maneuverability and fire support. 🔻 In the Udachnoye–Kotlino sector, Russian troops are applying concentrated pressure. Assault groups are pushing through forest belts, focusing on eroding the defensive lines between settlements. The main goal is to secure the gray zone near Kotlino, which would open access to important enemy supply routes. Success here would weaken the Kiev forces’ defense in the long run. 🔻 In Zverево and on the outskirts of Pervomayskoye, Russian troops are increasing their pace, effectively using infantry and drones to strike at vulnerable defense points. These combined strikes are disrupting Kiev forces’ mobility and forcing them to redeploy troops to respond, helping Russian units strengthen their hold on key positions leading toward Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk). 🔻 North of Shevchenko, Russian units are moving toward the forested areas, aiming to bypass enemy flanks. This could lead to a flanking maneuver and allow Russian troops to reach the suburbs of Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk). Breaking through the flanks would critically undermine Kiev forces’ defense by cutting access to vital exit points and supply lines. 🔻 After the liberation of Novotoretskoye, Russian forces continued their advance toward Nikonorovka and Mayak, increasing pressure on these settlements. This puts additional strain on enemy positions and could open the way for deeper territorial gains. 🔻 Another focal point is the area of dacha settlements in front of Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk), now being actively used by Russian reconnaissance and sabotage teams for covert infiltration and surveillance. Small groups are carrying out localized assaults, aiming to get closer to the city, test the resilience of the defense, and prepare the ground for a broader offensive. Source:
