These are TM-62 anti-tank blast mines, note the intact fuse cover, indicating that they are unarmed new units.

I know these aren’t fused but still makes me cringe

So, based on recent observations, I think we can predict that the Russians will roll an armoured regiment over that one spot.

“Wait, don’t we have to bury these things?” “Against any army other than Russia’s, the answer would be ‘yes’”.

1. No fuse - no danger. 2. Front line, where these are going to be set, aren’t chill place. Every second counts. But sitting on a sofa thousands of km away it is way more obvious to judge, of course.

Relax. These are unfused. Basically, just dumb cylinders of very insensitive Comp-A explosives. We used to carry reconstituted Comp-A around in garbage bags, throwing it in and out of our pickup truck because it made great bulk HE to make stuff go away...

I guess the saying, treat any firearm as it’s loaded applies when handling explosives. I guess they didn’t got the memo ?

1. Remove mine from minelaying truck. 2. Brave soldier to play battleship(tm) game with Russian Tank. Install & activate fuze. 3. Repeat. 4. Wait for Russian Tank to blow up. Bonus points if turret toss occurs.

Just because you 'can' (handle unfused mines roughly) doesn't mean you 'should.'
