Ukrainians female prisoners are now being recruited into frontline assault units. Zelensky has offered them to have their sentences reduced if they survive the war.

Some prisoners are lucky and get less dangerous roles. This one became an officer in a command center.

This woman was given a 6-year prison sentence for theft. She lost her son and husband within 3 months. Her qualifications have allowed her to join a medical role in the army.

She's not very bright, is she? She exchanged 2 years of "sewing garments" for something worse, possibly death or becoming badly disabled. If she had a lifelong sentence or something like 15 or 20 years then all right, that's not entirely unreasonable. But this?

This is not going to end well. There are recent videos of corpses on the line of combat contact when the Russians are clearing the area after battles and there are women soldiers lying dead among the casualties.
