I think in the MCU, Doom Stark is gonna make the infinity sword. "Bigger stick", "wants everyone to see the sword as a shield", and enough infinity stones to make it. Plus the vision Wanda had didn't look like a stone being thrown at the Earth, it looked like a blast.

The world was nearly destroyed because Ultron existed for less than 72 hours. The world wouldn't survive a sequel.
