Ummm... are handguns supposed to "squish"?

FN took "Tactical Tupperware" literally.

That's been the case with FN pistols since they started doing polymer. It's not that the polymer is thin, its thicker than a Glock grip, but it's far softer when heated up in direct sunlight.

Please tell me this is top notch AI work

No AI here. I filmed myself several years back.
@Finnagenn_Cider How long was it sitting out in the sun that day?

@Finnagenn_Cider probably 15 minutes

My 1911 doesn’t do that

You know a 1911 will never squish like that. It also has a confirmed kill against an aircraft. Your polymer boy melts under the rising sun. The 1911 took it down.

I left my Glock 43X on a table next to me, in direct sunlight the other day for 2 hours at least, 100 degrees, and it was hot, but solid as a rock. Never seen a squishy gun before. Wild...

I never want to hear anyone say shit about a PLA+ 3D printed gun frame ever again

Glocks are!

It’s a gun and a stress ball.

He wants his gun back

Time to upgrade to the OG you slept on. Fiber reinforced polymer frame doesn't flex.

I never liked FN polymers. Glock, Ruger, and S&W seem to have harder better plastics.

2 World Wars, they don't squish.

My ex wife has weak walls too

When Texas is so hot even the guns go squishy.

Knew this was an FNX before I opened the video. Great gun, though.

Squish that..... gat?

Yeah, my FNX45 can flex slightly even when NOT hot. My bigger issue is slightly short fingers, I have to un-naturally rotate my grip to reach the trigger. HK45T has a funky-looking grip, but fits my hand like a GLOVE. Like it found its home. HK45 doesn't get as much attention as MK23 and USP, and that's a shame.

FN seems to have some issues with their polymer.

My FNP-45 used to do the same thing. It was not ideal for use in the Florida heat, especially if it had been left in the car or outside for any length of time.

I thought the same thing with my fnx45t. I’ve had it about a decade now with about 5k rounds through it and believe it or not… no issues with the frame. The issue is the mags… the little metal nub that snaps it into place breaks. I have 9 mags currently and 2 have failed. It’s the only issue I’ve had. My Glocks have a little squish to them as well… not as much as the fnx but still a little.

Just FNX things. Sometimes, compromises have to be made to get that 15 round flush fit magazine of .45 ACP to fit. That is clearly one of them. It's not an issue unless you go outside in the summer, lmao.

It's so hot outside FNs are getting bendy. Wild.

Damnit. Now I have to go squeeze my FNP-45 Tactical. Will see if it's just the FNX or both the OG and the "improved" design...

FN45's have squished for like a decade. This isn't new.

These are the guns scavs run around with that have 11% durability left

To be fair, that's kind of genius if the magazines are sturdy enough to keep things secure. Why add extra rubber to a grip and make it thicker/heavier when you can add rubber to the magazine instead, essentially? Point of concern is the rubber sticking to the magazine too well due to something like sweat or swelling, preventing clean reloads. I like the novel idea but have concerns, lol.

Some people think FN don’t be like it is, but it do

I remember when people first discovered this about the FN 45 Tactical.
