Deserved to be tossed… that wasn’t a ‘random’ flipped bat

I agree with the ump. Hitter had no problem tossing the bat well away when he thought he was walked on the prior pitch, seemed to be of a different mind on that next one.

What is there to argue?! He clearly tossed the bat in the direction of the umpire. It’s embarrassing that the coach and the player is even arguing.

1) Ump was right to eject him; 2) Toss a bat at an ump ... automatic unappealable season suspension/disqualification. If that bat hits the ump, he could be seriously injured or at least concussed. The ump wasn't about to reward #2's stupidity. #2 got what he deserved.
