Here’s something I don’t understand: Why does the 2B umpire signal safe when Lowe throws to 2B? If the 2B umpire ruled it was a catch as this video suggests, then wouldn’t he know to call the runner who started on 2B out? Who is he calling safe there??

Umpireball is easily the worst sport in the world today. How much longer are we gonna let old, fat, untalented losers ruin a beautiful game like this?! ffs it isn't even fun to watch anymore...

this many cameras, a million replay options and we still can’t correct 3 WRONG OUTS (or say that a HOME RUN IS ACTUALLY A HOME RUN) insanity

I don’t understand how they all miss this play. A triple play is a pretty big deal.

What a goof! Maybe the 2nd base umpires view was obstructed? Or maybe Vegas had a play.

How many outs would they have awarded if they could review it?

replay is still way too limited. i understand it makes it difficult to determine how to proceed after the fact, but you have to at least have the option to review that and then standardize a rule as to how to sort it out. you have the technology, get it right

I mean it’s an easy double play regardless.
