Today, at Redeemer’s University Redeemer's University, Ede, Osun State, I was glad to commission the new Institute of Genomics and Global Health, marking a significant evolution from ACEGID’s @acegid status as a center of excellence. This moment is not only a proud achievement for all those involved, but it also stands as a powerful symbol of what African scientific leadership can achieve on the global stage. Under the visionary leadership of Prof Christian Happi Christian T. Happi, the team at ACEGID has made extraordinary strides in genomic research, particularly in addressing some of the most pressing infectious disease challenges of our time. The inauguration of the Institute reminds us that the work being done by the ACEGID team is a global public good, benefiting not only Nigeria and Africa but also contributing to global health security. The partnerships fostered between institutions and scientists from the Global North and South are a testament to our shared commitment to protecting and advancing human health. This collaboration has demonstrated what is possible when we work together to confront challenges that affect us all. Under the visionary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Bola Ahmed Tinubu health security remains a central pillar of our broader strategy to transform Nigeria’s health system, unlock the value chain, and improve population health outcomes. This is why supporting cutting-edge scientific research, like the work at this Institute, is essential. We need to create a health system environment with strong public health capabilities to withstand the potential and evolving threats posed by infectious diseases and the ongoing impacts of climate change. The pace at which new health threats are emerging is accelerating, and with it, the need for robust scientific responses. The innovations in genomics we are witnessing at ACEGID provide a glimmer of hope, offering us the tools we need to be better prepared for what may come. The Federal Government of Nigeria Government of Nigeria is fully committed to supporting these efforts, knowing that science must lead the way in securing a healthier future for all.

In an interview with Fox News, Finnish President Alexander Stubb Alexander Stubb named four conditions of peace for Ukraine: 1️⃣ Territory. All territories along the 1991 border should be returned to Ukraine. This aspect is fundamental, as the territorial integrity of any state is the basis of international law. If this norm is ignored, the precedent of border violations may become a dangerous signal for other states and dictators seeking expansion. 2️⃣ Security guarantees. Ukraine should be accepted into NATO or receive similar specific security guarantees. This move is highly controversial in the international arena, as many countries fear an escalation of conflict with Russia, as well as nuclear war. However, the absence of such guarantees will leave not only Ukraine vulnerable but also other countries that neighbor a large non-democratic state. 3️⃣ Punishment. Those responsible for the "SMO" must be punished. And not only the master of the Kremlin but also all who were involved. This condition is important not only for justice but also as a preventive measure. If the aggressors are not punished, other states may perceive this as a signal of impunity, which will only increase the likelihood of new conflicts. 4️⃣ Compensation for damages. Full compensation for material and other losses. Ukraine's reconstruction is also important for Europe, as stability in this region directly affects the security and economy of the entire continent. President Stubb's key message is that the proposed measures should not be seen solely as support for Ukraine. This is a matter of global security and long-term stability. An effective investment in future tranquility. If the problem is not solved now, the global community will have to face the consequences of aggression again in the very near future. Appeasement of aggressors in the past has only led to new and larger conflicts. The current geopolitical situation requires painful solutions that will have long-term results. Ignoring problems in the short term can lead to much worse consequences in the future.

Today, I continued to hold talks with leaders who can help Ukraine and all of our Europe in bringing just peace and true long-term security closer. We continue to prepare for the first Global Peace Summit, which will be held in Switzerland and must become a truly effective platform for establishing peace. Today, I personally invited the leaders of Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, and the Secretary General of the Council of Europe. It is critical that we maintain dialogue with all leaders, and we practically share the same goal: to restore true stability to international affairs and to ensure justice for every nation, so that no nation is destroyed. History will be grateful to everyone who helps. During our calls today, we also discussed our bilateral cooperation in detail. Denmark: the focus was on strengthening Ukraine’s air defense and implementing defense agreements. The Netherlands: Prime Minister Rutte and I discussed the search for an additional "Patriot" system. Hungary: a good and lengthy conversation with many details about bilateral cooperation and the regional situation. We agreed to work together and move forward based on our teams’ work. Germany: we discussed our energy system's recovery and defense, as well as preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin. Saudi Arabia: Crown Prince and I discussed bilateral cooperation and global affairs, notably practical ways to bring peace closer.

A Visit to China Will Fundamentally Change Your Worldview, Argues British Scholar Visiting China is a transformative experience that will permanently alter how you see the world, according to British academic and author Martin Jacques. In a powerful statement, he argues that for those accustomed to a Western-centric viewpoint, experiencing China firsthand shatters the illusion that the West remains the center of the universe. Shifting the Global Center of Gravity "If you go to China, you'll never ever see the world in the same way again. Never," Jacques begins. He explains that the "Western mind always has the West at the center of it," a perspective that is immediately challenged upon arrival in China. "You go to China and you realize that actually, we're not the center of the world anymore," he states, suggesting the new center is "somewhere around here." In his view, China's modernity is now "well in advance... of anything in the West." This rapid development signals a fundamental shift in global dynamics, positioning the nation not just as a major player but as a new focal point for the world. Understanding a New Kind of Power Jacques asserts that China is "already a great power," but one that cannot be properly understood through a "Western prism." He cautions against expecting to comprehend its rise in purely Western terms. He goes further, arguing that China is "probably the global leader, more important than the United States." He believes this is not a fleeting trend but a continuous process that will reshape the international order. Instead of the long-standing "westernization of the world," he suggests we are now witnessing the "sinicization of the world." However, he clarifies that China's ascent will not be a simple replica of the Western model. "I think it'll be different in all sorts of ways," he concludes, "and that's what's going to be so interesting."

We Will Protect IPOB Jealously We were on our own building this freedom movement for over 10 years, creating global awareness for Biafra self-determination and from no where Ekpa jumped in and started calling for the destruction of a movement he was never part of. He went on creating chaos and carrying out violent activities with the name of movement people paid with their blood to build. The consequences of his actions will be huge. I don't mind spending another10 years in making sure he pays for his treachery. If we don't set an example with Ekpa, others will try to toe his line in future. I wouldn't have any issues with him had it been he came to genuinely create his own platform, and build his freedom movement. We have other Freedom movement and, we have no issues with them as long as your activities is not jeopardizing the sanctity of the Biafra quest, or oppressing the people of Biafra which supposedly alongside IPOB, agitating to protect, we have no problem with you. What we want is Biafra. And Biafra doesn't belong to IPOB or Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. It belongs to every Biafran. It is a collective heritage. But, Some of you yapping nonsense and supporting Ekpa were sleeping and clubbing with APC and PDP when we were moving from market to market, from shop to shop, from church to mosque, from office to office, from embassy to embassy, from state to state, from region to region from country to country from meeting to meeting, facing all sorts of humiliation, rejection and sometimes acceptance and encouragement. We can't just look back with so much hard work and huge sacrifice and one idiot from somewhere jumped in and started making caricatures of our pains and blood. If we can't secure IPOB it means we are not qualified to have Biafra as nation. And, we will protect IPOB jealously with the last drop of our blood from state-actors and their destructive proxies. #EmekaGift #Code0530 #FreeBiafra #FreeMaziNnamdiKanu #BiafraReferendum
