Turnbull is averaging 14/5/1 and 3 BPG in only 21 MPG, he’s also shooting 54% from the field. Turnbull is a skilled athlete who has the ability to impact the game on both ends. On the defensive end he has the 2nd highest BLK% in the country, Turnbull uses his athleticism and size to be an elite rim protector who also doesn’t foul often. In the offensive end Turnbull has the ability to play as a rim runner who is also an elite post player with his touch and craft at the rim and he also has the ability to make plays for his teammates. Turnbull is currently on pace to be just the 2nd player in Division 1 since 2008 to have a BLK% of 15, and an AST% of 15 as well.

Charleston 7 Foot Sophomore Chol Machot has been one of the most intriguing players in mid major basketball this season Through his first three games he’s averaging 13/7/1 along with 2 BPG in only 21 MPG, he’s also shooting 60% from the field. Machot moves extremely well for his size and uses that to play a rim running role offensively and play as a switchable rim protector on the defensive end. There’s not a lot of bigs in mid major basketball with Chol’s size, mobility and scoring ability.

Brayden Burries is the best rim pressure guard in the 2026 NBA Draft. 73rd %ile at the rim 63.4% shooting at the rim What sets Burries apart in this area for me is his versatility. He does an awesome job of blending power with finesse. He has the strength and explosiveness to finish over or through defenders, but also the craft, footwork, touch, and body control to finish in different ways. The fact that he's a freight train in transition, can attack closeouts, be versatile in the PNR, and finish with either hand is so valuable. Every year we see the importance of guards who can not just handle but also dish out physicality in the playoffs. Brayden Burries fits that perfectly.
