Uncle Rusty is an interesting character despite only appearing in four Little Bear episodes. Rusty doesn't have a house like Little Bear and his parents; he lives in the woods and is a less civilized anthro bear. This clip shows it best when he goes fishing the "bear" way.

I love that they didn’t turn it into some thing where the dad tries to keep Little Bear from doing things Rusty’s way.

He's especially interesting when you take into account the fact that "wild country" exists as shown in The Little Bear Movie with Cub and his parents.

The way so many kids show lately would have little bear cry when he messes up
