FCE, I have red Lab that lost use of his back legs but therapy, swimming was major way to get him back. They amazingly heal if you don't give up. Great post thank you. Swimming I knew he would be back because he used his back legs.

Have spent a lot of years involved with Canine Rehabilitation, it’s not easy and sadly, a lot of owners give up. This owner deserves a medal. That beautiful canine will never forget x

This really warms my heart. Many people would have thought it was too much work and put the dog down. I had a min Schnauzer that had an FCE when he was 3 1/2 years old. I made a wheel chair for him and worked with him until he was able to walk and run again. He was never as good as he was, but he still loved life and knew he was love. We travel a lot and when he would see a stranger coming toward him in the RV park, he would get all excited as if to say, "There's that new best friend I was looking for." And if the new friend bent over to pet him, he would go find a stick and come drop it on his foot inviting him to play. He was the coolest dog I ever had. I cried like a baby when I had to take him to the vet just before he turned 13 to have him put down.

This isn’t realistic, the video doesn’t show the dog’s incontinence, among other aspects. It’s like a full time job taking care of them. If you don’t have to work that’s great for you but that’s what you get to do with your time. Otherwise it’s more humane to put the animal down
