For the past few months, Heritage has had protesters outside of our building every Monday afternoon. Today’s crowd is smaller than usual, but the profanities and demonic behavior continues nonetheless. To the protestors outside our building, know this: you’re pathetic. Your profanities do not intimidate us and your noise is not distracting to our work. In fact, your protests are fuel for the fire the drives us to do the hard work needed to save this country. So the next time you flip me or my colleagues off, yell into your microphone “f*** Christianity,” or blow an air horn, remember that your time and breath is wasted.

But the country is being bombed around the clock while the regime just massacred thousands of protesters in January. Infants use every tool in their toolbox to mimic their most trusted caregivers. This little one, shared to FB by Kristen Humphrey, is an amazing example. Listen to how close he comes to saying “I love you” back to his dad. How does he do it? The answer is using both sight and sound. Watch how carefully he’s studying his father’s face, using not only the cadence and sound of dad’s words but the subtle movements of his mouth to help inform his own try. And wow does he ever come close! This is how so much learning begins for infants: up close and face to face - which makes it particularly important that you carve out time to interact directly with your baby. Not just in proximity. Not in the presence of a screen. But eye to eye and face to face. It’s where the magic happens.

This is one of the greatest feelings a hitter will ever experience… and most players never learn it. This drill has nothing to do with mechanics. It has everything to do with execution. The pitcher mixes fastballs and slow balls. Your only two rules: ⚾ Slow pitch or spin? Don’t roll it over. ⚾ Fastball? Don’t pull it. Now you’re forced to recognize speed instead of guessing. You’re training your eyes, your timing, and your approach—not just your swing. This is one of my favorite two-strike drills because it teaches hitters to trust what they see instead of committing too early. A great swing is important. Knowing when to use it is what separates hitters. Train with an expert, not an influencer.

Great example on importance of serving others in leadership role. One skill lacking many catchers on all levels is how to excel in servant leadership. Roberts shows w/between inning talk and post game comments. Importance of being in sync w/P and serving the P. Not easy and takes training/reminders/communication. Being on same page in P calling. Body language when it goes wrong. Not letting poor AB’s carry over to field. Lot of heat on Dalton Rushing. Has caught 74 big league games. Not a full time C in minor leagues. All C’s have been in that spot. Frustrated with self because of hitting, miss a pitch, P not throwing K’s, ect. we react. It happens. Key is awareness of it and limiting those times!

Makes you feel ridiculous, doesn’t it? These projects only function if literally everyone participates. Most people in the rest of the world won’t because the costs outweigh any benefit to them. Or they simply can’t. Your personal effort in the West ends up being expensive and draining, while the actual difference you make is tiny. The government pushes them anyway. Not because they expect meaningful results, but because they want to train you. They want you performing these costly rituals while believing you’re serving some greater good, when in truth, they’re exploiting that cause for their own agenda. It’s obedience training and exploitation, disguised as collective virtue. But the sea turtles are like totally saved.

Watching this video makes my jaw clench. Not because I see courage. Not because I see progress. It makes my jaw clench because I see a husband standing outside a women’s restroom while his wife is inside, and another person is demanding that he ignore what his own eyes can see. Put Democrat politics aside for a moment and think about the people you love. Imagine your wife is in that restroom. Imagine it’s your daughter, your granddaughter, your mother, or your sister. Most husbands like us, aren’t going to start debating social theories at that moment. Their first instinct is going to be the same instinct men have had for thousands of years: protect the women they love. That isn’t hatred. It isn’t fear. It’s responsibility. What makes this video so powerful is that it exposes a much bigger disagreement taking place across the country. One side believes that biological reality determines who belongs in male and female spaces. The other believes that personal identity should be the deciding factor.
