Tonight a few friends worked out we will be worse off with your tax cuts. I know we are upper middle income but not going to beat ourselves up, just because we studied and worked hard. Why didn’t you just increase the taxable threshold? Even at 25k tax free threshold we would all be better off.

I voted based on the knowledge that Stage 3, a process to eventually benefit my tax bracket, would not have my tax relief redirected to someone else. I don’t begrudge less well off Australians being provided for. I begrudge liars dipping into my family’s budget to do it.
