The NIH’s priorities under Biden’s administration are a masterclass in bureaucratic absurdity. While chronic respiratory diseases kill over 150,000 Americans annually, bureaucrats funneled $200K into a “transgender voice training” app and $120K for 3D avatars to “treat” gender dysphoria. Meanwhile, COPD research gets crumbs despite being the fourth leading cause of death. This isn’t science—it’s ideological pandering. RFK Jr. was right to call out this corruption: taxpayer dollars should fund real medical breakthroughs, not virtue-signaling pet projects that serve political agendas over public health.
