Codex can now use the in-app browser to test your app at different viewport sizes! It will control the device tool bar and click through your app at different breakpoints to validate & iterate. If it's a long run, Codex will take screenshots at key moments during testing and show them to you at the end of the turn, so you can verify its work. To speed up testing, Codex can hide the IAB to disable animations, and accelerate testing by 1-2x. Separately, we also made annotations send faster and consume less tokens. After months of stealth work I’d like to finally introduce my new app to the #ICPFamily! This app lets any user create a personal asset canister that only they own using just a wallet. It also provides a file explorer in the browser to let users upload and manage their files on chain. Features: • Code-free autonomous canister creation. • Familiar file explorer interface. • Drag and drop file upload. • Supports Plug, Stoic, and NFID. • Works on mobile with NFID. The app is currently in a whitelisted beta as I finish up testing but I’m happy to allow anyone early access. There are a lot of features still on the way including share via QR-code, named canisters, and even automatic cycles top-up. This app was meant for everyone to be able to use so I look forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts, feedback, and feature requests. Simple mental model for cloud agents: clone the exact state of your laptop, multiply it infinitely, and make it accessible via HTTP. Most people still don't know cloud agents can spin up full Linux, Windows, Android, etc.. environments on demand, run computer-use tests, record annotated video proof of your app working through updates, drive Playwright against live Chrome with persistent auth, all triggerable from anywhere. Here I'm experimenting with a fork of Nous Research Hermes Agent built specifically on low latency. I've set up a Devin automation that checks Hermes daily for upstream changes, implements the updates, runs tests to make sure it works, sends me proof that it does, creates a PR, and reviews it. All I have to do to keep the fork up to date is review the daily morning PR.

As a UI designer, it’s incredibly satisfying to experience these designs up close while they remain stunningly sharp. It’s my kind of ASMR. On what would have been Steve’s 70th birthday, I can only imagine how much he would appreciate the care and attention we continue to give to human interface design today.

The new MARS prosthesis control system uses special sensors and artificial intelligence to recognize muscle movements. The prosthesis can literally understand the user's intentions. This approach makes prosthesis control more natural, and in the future, opens up new opportunities for controlling technologies such as drones. The user will be able to control the drone by changing the position of the prosthesis in space and tensing different muscles. The principle is similar to a computer mouse: the hand movement controls the direction and angle of the drone, and muscle tension controls functions such as pressing buttons. Agentic tools like Windsurf are more than just code autocomplete—they are collaborative coding agents that help you break down complex applications, iterate efficiently, and generate code that spans multiple files. Although a lot of coding assistants share the same underlying large language models for planning and reasoning, a major point of distinction is how they handle tools, keep track of context, and stay aligned with your intent as a developer. For instance, if you make modifications to a class definition in your code and make the same modifications to other classes in the same directory, you might tell the AI agent "Do the same thing in similar places in this directory." Here, tracking your intent means understanding that “the same thing" refers to that recent edit you just made, which must be followed by appropriate search and tool-calling to implement the changes. In this course, you'll learn the inner workings of coding agents, their strengths and limitations, and how to use Windsurf to quickly build several applications. Claude Code on desktop just added an embedded loop that can run your dev server, view the app, review local changes, and watch pull requests until they merge. It can now preview a running app inside the desktop UI while it iterates on fixes. It can also monitor CI for an open PR and either fix failures or merge when checks go green. Earlier “agentic coding” workflows usually bounced between a terminal, a browser, and GitHub, so the model could not directly see what the app rendered or stay attached to CI results without manual babysitting. The new server preview flow starts and stops dev servers from a Preview control, shows the app in an embedded browser, reads logs, and can interact with the page to verify changes. That closes a common gap where a model edits code but cannot reliably confirm the UI and runtime behavior match the intent. The local “Review code” step runs before pushing, and it leaves inline comments on the diff so basic bugs and risky changes get caught earlier. For PR monitoring, the desktop app will track status and CI checks, and it can use auto-fix to attempt repairs and auto-merge to land the PR once checks pass, using GitHub tooling under the hood. Session mobility adds a /desktop command to move a CLI session into the desktop app, and sessions can be pushed to the cloud to resume from web or phone.
