I've only ever almost died one time in my life. I got in a fight outside a bar and threw an uppercut that landed squarely on the bottom of his front teeth. His teeth broke and my hand was cut. I thought "Sucks to be that guy, serves him right for hitting me." My hand was red and swollen the next day. I had some leftover antibiotics I took. A few days later I collapsed in my hallway. Low blood pressure, high fever, and I was in septic shock. Ended up in the ICU trying to get my blood pressure up and stop my kidneys from failing and my fingers and toes from falling off. This dude needs antibiotics immediately.

We visited Brix this morning and chatted with the vet. He took baby steps in the right direction overnight, and was stable enough to go outside his incubator for a full checkup. That tuckered him out because he wanted to escape. Also he hates his leg wrap thing now that he has the energy to fight. They asked if we could try feeding him, and Brix was starving! So, another good sign. He’s moving in the right direction.
