Underrated use case for the new World Labs model: transforming existing spaces. I took a picture of the lobby at a16z NYC, turned it into a "neon nightclub" with Seedream Edit, and then loaded it into World Labs. Fun to step through a familiar space in a new style 😎

Occasionally I try an AI tool so incredible that I simply can’t stop playing with it. The new World Labs model definitely qualifies here. It’s almost impossible to describe how cool it is to walk through a 3D world that you generated from a single image.

✨ Added Gemini 2's AI new experimental edit functionality to Photo AI! It's the state of the art model for editing photos with prompts I think It's just one button in Photo AI called [ 📝 AI Edit ] then you type a prompt in a JS prompt() window and just a few seconds later your edit is done Here I took an AI photo of myself, and then added 1000s of puppies to it with [ 📝 AI Edit ] and then turned it into a video with [ 🎞️ Make video ] Gemini 2 isn't perfect btw, the quality of faces reduces a bit with every edit. A short term fix would pressing Remix and then getting the resemblance back.

a bunch of you said this would be huge for real estate 🏡 so i pushed it further: virtual staging just went 3d 👀 the flow: 1. capture 16 ultra-wide photos 2. stitch into a 360° equirectangular panorama 3. feed that into Nano Banana 2 Lite with a staging prompt → generate a newly staged 360° image 4. reconstruct that into a fully navigable 3d world using World Labs you’re not just staging photos anymore - you’re staging space i’m starting to think 360° panoramas might just be the bridge between 2d and 3d worlds edit the pano. edit the world.
