“understepping” vs. “overstepping”

It’s funny how the other team members don’t seem to care much about the lawsuit, but Eddie is absolutely furious—and the reason is that he can’t talk to or see Buck.

Naaa the team was bugging for this. No one wanted buck to get his job back. At least no one seemed to cared, they wanted him to suck it up and when he decided to fight for himself Eddie was upset.

Its like absent dad and the over stepping up dad

I think OVERSTEPPING is not an apt word to BUCK AND EDDIE.. they've been doing that overstepping.
