All but $1M from his campaign. Paxton has spent $23,013,061 on TV/Cable/Radio (but no CTV has been bought - WTF?). Of that, only $205,546 is from his campaign. The rest is IE/PACs. That is a huge deal because campaign spending gets Lowest Unit Rate (the cheapest rate on a station) and IE/PACs routinely pay DOUBLE that for the exact same commercial. That is correct: DOUBLE You can see the real difference in support when you look at the Gross Rating Points each campaign has bought. Being a good organizer doesn’t make the cause true. Talarico praised Hall specifically for organizing around “trans kids.” Effectiveness tells you someone can move votes and people; it doesn’t tell you the underlying belief is right.
