🚨 Victorian Labor Premier Jacinta Allan is using the alarmist trans suicide narrative to back gender ideology in schools and shut down critics – including concerned parents. ❗️Not only is this incredibly manipulative and harmful, her claims rely on highly questionable data conflating thoughts of suicide with actual suicide, and completely ignore the underlying mental health issues that give rise to gender distress in children in the first place. ❗️Mental health issues that can't be properly addressed in Victoria due to the damaging and debunked medicalised 'gender affirmation' model enforced by totalitarian 'conversion ban' laws. ❗️There is also no credible evidence that medical or social 'gender affirmation' (including teaching kids they were born in the wrong body) reduces the risk of suicide in children and young people.
