God this movie is so good
rewatched it last week and its still a masterpiece

The sequel (based on the trailer) seems to have missed what made the first one so great. Aside from directing, cinematography, music etc, the first one was ultimately about the relationships.

Timberlake going from lion to lamb in the blink of an eye is still satisfying.
Andrew Garfield did one helluva job selling this scene. His performance is one of the greatest overlooked ones in movie history.
This would be much better were it not for Timberlake snidely interrupting the drama every other line. Why were we letting him be in movies back then, again?

Fincher is a master of his craft. The entire movie is perfection. No way the sequel lives up to it.
