Just fully the opposite of the truth. You can’t “vibe” your way to good macroeconomic ideas

Amazing how these “experts” still don’t get it. Dropping rates to fight inflation is like pouring gas on a fire to cool it down. Basic economics isn’t that hard… unless you work in media.

All of MAGA are economically illiterate idiots. I'm sick of acting like it's just a difference of opinion. They are simply wrong.

Dropping rates now would be gasoline on the inflation fire. The Fed's rate hikes aim to crush demand by making borrowing costlier - mortgages, car loans, business credit. Lower rates do the opposite, turbocharging spending when supply chains still haven't fully recovered from pandemic shocks. Remember 2021's stimulus checks fueling the inflation surge? Easy money post-COVID created this mess. The tariff chaos shows what happens when policy flip-flops - markets panic, prices destabilize. Until production capacity rebounds and government stops burning cash on foreign aid/pet projects, rate cuts would just re-ignite the inflationary spiral Americans are already struggling to escape.
