Context: Candace claimed it was a fact that Robert Maxwell (Ghislaine Maxwell's father) and Holocaust survivor & author Elie Wiesel were cousins — during an episode where the entire premise was that Robert Maxwell is a fraud. Her proof? -A single reference from Robert Maxwell's obscure, out-of-print biography that claims Wiesel and Maxwell are "distant relatives." She repeatedly highlights that the biography was "authorised" by Maxwell in an attempt to give it legitimacy (and hopes you forget her entire premise is that Maxwell is a fraud). -No primary source is provided. No family tree. The claim isn't corroborated by anyone else. Not to mention: it still doesn't even prove Candace's claim that they were "cousins."
