Swarm choreography is wild. What's the hardest part, keeping dozens of robots in sync or stopping them safely when one goes off script? Could the same system coordinate robots on a farm instead of a stage?

A larger swarm is impressive; coordinated recovery is just as interesting. I would like to see how the system handles a robot dropping out, delayed commands or a stop request without disrupting the rest of the formation.

Swarm choreography is theatre. The metric that matters is how many hours each bot does useful work, not how many dance in sync.

Compliant actuators make choreography a paradox. You need elasticity to absorb unexpected impacts, but that compliance destroys the millimeter precision swarms require.
