Unitree, which finished first in 22.08 seconds under remote operation, took silver. Tiangong is developed by a state-backed innovation center in Beijing.

It’s not the first time CUE has made headlines. Back in 2019, the earlier CUE3 model made 2,020 consecutive assisted free throws, also earning a Guinness World Record. For the record-breaking long shot, engineers used machine learning to fine-tune posture, release angle, and force based on repeated trials. In outdoor 100-meter testing, Bolt has also pushed to 10 m/s. That number says everything. Back in February, MirrorMe introduced Bolt as a speed-first humanoid: 177 cm tall, 75 kg, built around a 10 m/s peak-speed target. For a humanoid robot, this is not fast walking.
