Turkish President Erdogan: An agreement was signed last year on March 10 with the structure known as the SDF, which occupied territories in northern and eastern Syria. According to this agreement, the SDF was supposed to lay down its arms and hand over the areas it occupies to the Syrian government. However, the SDF did not take any positive steps toward integration within the designated timetable. SDF continued to oppress civilians in the territories it occupied and carried out attacks against civilian and military targets outside these areas.
