Rather than a 2-pdr, the gun looks like a captured Italian 47/32. Interesting field mod, I had never seen it. It reminds of the proposed, and foolishly turned down, Italian SP AT gun version of the L3 light tank (1940)

That was my first thought but if you look closely it's a 2 pounder, the 47/32 breech is completely different for example but as you can see in this comparison it is consistent with the British gun, also you can see the shield attachment bracket that the 47/32 lacks.
