An absolute classic turns 40 years old this year: Rampage from 1986 by Bally Midway, where up to three players simultaneously (!) unleash chaos as giant monsters. You play as George (ape), Lizzie (lizard), and Ralph (wolf) - humans mutated by Scumlabs experiments. I mean, what could go wrong? You smash skyscrapers across 128 North American cities, eat citizens for health (yummy!), flatten tanks, and rip helicopters from the skies in King Kong style. Once you lose your health you revert to a naked human shuffling off-screen; it always made me laugh. Its very simple, yet addictive co-op destruction (no complex objectives, just the purest of monster-movie chaos!) made it a commercial hit, with later ports to NES, C64, Atari, and sequels like World Tour, plus a 2018 Dwayne Johnson film (which sucked, but that was to be expected).

Monster Hunter Wilds | Summer Game Fest 2024 Previews: • "The next generation of Monster Hunter" • Seamless transitions between village and wilds with no loading screens • Dynamic day and night system affects what monsters appear and their behavior • Dynamic weather with rain, lightning strikes, dust storms, etc • Map is "twice the size" of any other Monster Hunter game before • Quests can be dynamically started in the field without the need for a quest board • You can now swap weapons mid-hunt from your mount • New mounts called Seikrets are more agile than Palamutes • Attack, pick up items, and even swap weapons while mounted • Mounts have an auto-run feature that will take you to a pinned destination • Continue exploring freely after completing a quest, doesn't force you back to camp • Large monsters can now run in herds • As usual, monsters can interact and fight with each other as well • Light Bowgun, Heavy Bowgun, and Hunting Horn have seen some of the biggest changes to make them feel better • Capcom placed a big focus on the story this time including playing with camera angles and cinematics • Online co-op has seen matchmaking improvements • Playing through the story in multiplayer is more convenient but there are still some story moments you have to watch solo • 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC #MonsterHunterWilds #Capcom

Galaga (Namco, 1981) You could hear it from a mile away and were magically drawn toward it when entering an arcade. It was usually the most packed machine, surrounded by kids watching a “pro” play. I didn’t have much money back then, so I could afford maybe three or four games, but I’d still hang out with my brother for another hour or two just watching others play. I remember one time a guy was on a serious streak but started sweating and losing his grip on the joystick. Another kid ran to the bathroom, grabbed paper towels, and handed them to him so he could wipe his hands and the joystick between stages. Everyone cheered him on while making sure no one crowded too close. Early multiplayer co-op mode! Arcades were a world of their own. The games and graphics were so far ahead of what my Atari 2600 and C64 could do. That magic slowly faded in the late 80s when the Amiga (and later PCs) caught up.

S10 Preseason Leeks 💖 The most exciting preseason for Origins is right around the corner. If everything goes well, Origins will go into maintenance for the preseason update on August 7 at 11:30 AM PHT / August 6 at 11:30 PM EST. Lets dive into the latest developments as we get ready for the S10 Preseason Launch 👇 🪜 Collectible Leaderboard As we bring much needed gameplay utility to Collectible Axies with Meta Morph, Collectible Leaderboard will serve as the true battleground for the most precious axies in Lunacia. 🔹 Prizepool of Collectible Leaderboard has been increased from 4,000 AXS to 6,000 AXS. 🔹 Collectible Leaderboard will be live for 3 weeks from Aug 7, 11:30 AM PHT to Aug 28, 11:00 AM PHT. 🔹 Era based testing will be carried out with 1 week dedicated to each era. 🔹 Preseason Cup will not be hosted during this preseason. The focus will be on Collectible Leaderboard for balance patch testing. ✨ Meta Morph After getting important feedback regarding Meta Morph from the community and further internal review, we've decided to implement the following changes: 🔹 Body parts of the morphed cards will be visually changed once battle begins. This is necessary to make it easier for players to be able to check quickly what team the opponent is playing. Thank you all for reaching out and for prayers. All of the campers at my daughter’s camp are safe. We have her in our arms. Precious. Grieving for the Mystic families and for our children who will slowly start to comprehend what they have been through. We stood waiting for our daughter in line and a small boy told us how his cabin filled with water above his head, bunk beds started floating, and his cabin had to crawl into the rafters to survive. He said the cabin next to them lost an entire wall from the water rushing in. 2 of the boy cabins floated away but then hit a tree and ended up on higher ground. Camp mystic girls are still missing. One girl floated 12 miles down the river before she was rescued. Hunt is destroyed. We met a grandmother who had to protect her 5 grandkids while all of the cars were swept away and the tractor on their farm was completely submerged from deep water surrounding the house. I cannot imagine. Grateful doesnt begin to describe how I feel. People are already saying Star Fox Battle Mode looks light because it only has three stages. That's missing the point. This isn’t three deathmatch arenas with different skyboxes. It’s three actual missions with completely different objectives. On Corneria you fight to capture and hold a control zone. On Fichina the goal is grabbing energy crystals while the other team tries to stop you. In Sector Y you’re raiding space pirates to steal their cargo before they escape. That’s not the same fight three times. That’s three different reasons to fly an Arwing, three different ways to use your team, and three different ways a match can actually swing. Star Fox has always worked best when it feels like you’re on a mission, not just shooting other players until the timer runs out. The old versus modes were fun, but they were still mostly arena fights. These objectives force actual strategy and role distribution. Someone has to push the zone while others cover. Someone has to hunt crystals while the rest harass or defend. The limited stage count feels intentional instead of cheap. And then there’s GameShare. Up to four players can drop in together locally or through GameChat. Local works between Switch 2 and original Switch. Online is Switch 2 only for now. It’s the closest we’ve ever got to the old briefing room fantasy, except now you’re not watching the team talk. You’re wearing their faces and flying with them. Most people are focused on how many maps there aren’t. I’m more interested in whether these three maps make you want to keep playing with the same crew. So which objective sounds good to you? Corneria zone control, Fichina crystals, or Sector Y cargo runs? And be honest: would you rather have three distinct mission-style stages that force different strategies, or eight generic deathmatch maps that all play roughly the same?

10 drives in with FSD v14.1 and here are all my thoughts. First of all- wow. Zero disengagements or interventions thus far. The confidence and overall human like driving is next level. The steering inputs are so smooth, braking inputs are earlier and more linear than before. It gives off Robotaxi vibes with how it navigates parking lots, plus how it drives and how quickly it backs into a parking spot. Such a nice experience to ride along with it. Seeing FSD now navigate parking garages is so cool. When you enter it waits for the arm to open after you get your ticket, proceeds in and finds a parking space. When you leave it does the same thing, gets close to the ticket stand and then proceeds. Really fascinating to see in person. It really sometimes feels like FSD can now read signs in the garage to guide it to the exit. Brought it to the back corner of a garage and it found its way out. Hurry mode is awesome, quick and more assertive than before, while also being smoother with less unnecessary lane changes. Sloth mode is what you’d expect- exact speed limit and gentle driving. Icons are cool and easy to change. When you start FSD from park, there’s no delay. It starts right away and leaves in a split second. Really good improvement. I love being able to select the Arrival Options if I am parking curbside or in a charger, it also automatically chooses depending on where you navigate to. It perfectly parks at Superchargers, tried it at the Tesla Diner and at the Santa Monica supercharger and both times it was excellent. Always centered in the lines and it parks better and quicker than the majority of humans do. Only thing so far to note is one instance of slight braking when going around a bus blocking a lane, was probably not even 1/2 of a second and dropped 1-2mph but felt it. Super super minor. Had FSD v14 move over for construction, a loose cone on a dark road, and obey a worker holding a stop sign. All of them were smooth and felt human like or better. It pulls in and out of my driveway great, doesn’t hesitate at all as well as when at chargers. Everything has a quicker response time. Curbside is cool too as it pulls right up against the curb perfectly in a parking spot. This release now means now 100% of your driving can now be done on FSD. From your driveway into a parking garage. Elon was right when he said it would feel sentient, and this isn’t even v14.2 yet. The Tesla AI team COOKED with this update. It’s phenomenal. Huge congrats to them for such an epic release. This is a HUGE update and I can’t wait to drive it more. It’s now 5am so I’m going to attempt to get some sleep, but tons more driving and videos coming later today as soon as I can. Thanks everyone for following along.

10 drives in with FSD v14.1 and here are all my thoughts. First of all- wow. Zero disengagements or interventions thus far. The confidence and overall human like driving is next level. The steering inputs are so smooth, braking inputs are earlier and more linear than before.
