Unpopular Opinion: churches in affluent multicultural areas developing a Christian culture that uses arts and talents for entertainment / a wholesome purpose is a net positive Are only people of the world allowed to create art? I would take my family to this Christmas show

Turning the church into entertainment is not a net positive. I agree with Christians creating art, but these types of churches already water down the gospel.

I wasn’t talking about church services. I’m talking about Christmas shows

Yeah but the “art” in question is corny and lame.

This isn't what Christmas is about. This is the product of 70 years of commercializing Christmas. I can see going to see this at an Arena or a concert venue, but not at Church. At Church, the only thing we should be doing on Christmas is worshiping the birth of Christ.

Unfortunately, these are the churches that are the least scripturally sound, and the congregation is the most confused about what forgiveness and faith man

seems pagan.

It has a cringe irreverent feeling to it.

i've been unfortunate enough to attend one of these unholy laser light and sound shows in person. completely robs any sense of purpose from the message. be sure to stop in the lobby and buy incredibly overpriced digital copies to watch again and again! *starts flipping tables*

My parents church does a Living Christmas Tree every other year. It is magnificent!
