Turning the church into entertainment is not a net positive. I agree with Christians creating art, but these types of churches already water down the gospel.

This isn't what Christmas is about. This is the product of 70 years of commercializing Christmas. I can see going to see this at an Arena or a concert venue, but not at Church. At Church, the only thing we should be doing on Christmas is worshiping the birth of Christ.

i've been unfortunate enough to attend one of these unholy laser light and sound shows in person. completely robs any sense of purpose from the message. be sure to stop in the lobby and buy incredibly overpriced digital copies to watch again and again! *starts flipping tables*

I think we need to see the evidence for Scotland Yard Police deciding that a "Christian march" would upset "certain" people. We live in a "Christian" country so why would a "Christian" march upset people??? -Who made that decision -Why would it upset anyone -other events for different religions are allowed to go ahead without asking (Christian)communities if they have any concerns -why is it ALWAYS the MUSLIMS that would apparantly be offended? They live in a Christian country so its up to them to learn to live with "Christian" people doing "Christian" things.... just like we are constantly being told we have to accept muslims....

This is fascinating. Aley, the largest Druze city in Lebanon (and the second largest after Suwayda worldwide), is now publicly celebrating Christmas! 🎄 Although Aley has a Christian minority, one that was substantially larger before the civil war, I don’t recall there ever being a major Christmas tree lighting ceremony or the opening of a Christmas market there in my lifetime. (Such events are typically confined to Beirut and to predominantly Christian areas.) The Druze have had a whirlwind of a year that has pushed them to reexamine their identity and rethink their political and cultural orientation. This is a clear, if subtle, hint of that shift.

This is Kolkata’s New Market at my husbands family business Nahoum’s Bakery. On Christmas Eve this is possibly the only place in the world where Hindus stand in line to buy Christmas cakes from a Jewish bakery made by Muslim Chefs to celebrate a Christian festival. Merry Christmas 🎉🎊🪅🎉.
