Korra is the First and Only Avatar to be dared by her opponent to use the avatar state in a fight and she still lost. Don't ever compare that fraud to Aang.

Fun fact: Aang activating the Avatar State against Yakone is one of the VERY few times we see the Avatar State trigger purely to break bloodbending without the Avatar even moving a muscle. Yakone really thought he had the strongest man alive folded until the past lives said “absolutely not” 😭

Okay, okay, okay, last one for tonight. Team Aang destroyed the drill, the most advanced war machine at the time, defeating Azula, Ty Lee, Mai, and the Fire Nation Invasion Force all at once, just in a usual afternoon. Korra’s Team and her Avatar State won’t ever achieve this. She will probably get crippled. But for Aang, NO AVATAR STATE needed! It is a travesty to ever mention Aang and Korra in the same class. That agbero Avatar has more in common with street thugs than any Avatar. Goodnight una. I rest.

I always thought the Avatar franchise sort of struggled with its thematic consistency of how it frames the Avatar state considering how Kyoshi and Roku used it to save countless lives. I think the answer lies in the fact the Avatar State is destructive for Aang specifically.

Random Avatar Korra fact: Did you know Korra was the only Avatar to ever fight a man who could kill a spirit? Normally spirits cannot be killed they can only be trapped. Yet Unalaq mastered dark water bending to the point where he destroyed Raava herself He ended the entire Avatar cycle in one move and Korra still got up and defeated him after all of that. Tell me again why she is not the greatest Avatar???

Aang was given a lot of plot armor and never truly mastered the avatar state. Yes i sad it and below is why Aang always enter the Avatar state unconsciously and it happened even when he fought Ozai. See the video and check facts for yourself

Not Kyoshi, not Aang, not Wan, not Kuruk no avatar in the entire universe can pull off this feat,none of them!!!!!!!! Korra took on the entire Red Lotus, unchained herself up, fought through mercury poisoning, and still nearly beat Zaheer. If not for the poison. I’ll say it again no Avatar can pull off this feat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, this works with any avatar. But it doesnt look correct with most avatars. Especially very tall or short ones. Even my avatar has a lot of clipping issues 😭 But yeah!! im working on getting the busted cutscene system to work with any R15 avatar!

Aang calmed a whole volcano without the Avatar state, using only AIR. Korra would have used the Avatar State and still lost to the volcano, killing everyone in that village. Again, Korra wasn’t an Avatar. She was only a manipulator of elements. That said, God punish Korra.
